This treehouse mural is very interesting. It was painted by the Fab Crew with assistance from visiting graffiti artists Detour, Wruk, and Crepe during the 2014 Subsurface Graffiti Expo. It depicts a nice treehouse amongst tree branches and greenery. You will find some hidden graffiti writing mixed in the tree branches and leaves.
Fast forward to 2019, Upland Brewing purchases the building that the mural is on that was formally Value World. They do not paint over or take down the mural, but they do cut out large pieces of it to put in some garage doors to open up to their patio area.
You can still get the gist of the mural, but large portions of it are gone and never coming back. So, I honestly do not know what is worse them keeping the mural and cutting out pieces of it or just removing the mural totally.
As with most murals, this is probably not a very long stop. I was there less than 5 minutes. There is ample free street parking available nearby. But, you can probably even do a drive by. It is best to plan out additional stops at many of the other wonderful murals in the area to maximize your trip. read more
