I have been a patient of the Wellness Center since August 27, 2012, when I first saw Dr. Rick…read moreBarrack for low back pain. I have been a patient off and on ever since then and attend presently for physical therapy under Jake Barrack, DPT, and Sean Mandell, DPT, and their staff of physical therapy technicians. What first attracted me to the Wellness Center were images on their website of artwork hanging on the walls. It occurred to me that if that was the level of quality in the organization then it was a place I wanted to be and become a part of. I am not employed by them but simply a fixture on the premises. When I decide I want to make friends with someone I look for three things; Quality of Character, degree of competence and what is in their hearts. They have and continue to pass the awesome test with me and so many other patients each time we go in for treatment. There is a culture in this organization that encourages the staff to jump in and help wherever needed and without regard for "who gets the credit." It is truly amazing to watch. I have started out with one physical therapist and when that person got busy someone else would simply step in and continue the process until my treatment had been completed. During my many visits for a variety of conditions I have always had a pleasant experience with each visit. I have been helped by many people over the years and to a person they have all been kind, delivered their care with love from their hearts, and a concern for the safety of their patients. No one is afraid or unwilling to do anything necessary for the wellbeing of the patients, whether it is sterilizing equipment, picking up after others, or seeing that each patient has the necessary attention when it is needed. There is no janitor here that I am aware of; they all just pitch in and help as needed. One of the things that immediately come to my attention is that they are relaxed as they go about their work, express enjoyment at being able to help others, and share a sense of urgency which never gets in the way of quality. I have never been disappointed. I feel like the people there are my friends and yet they maintain a professional relationship which I appreciate very much. They have achieved a bond of trust among the employees and the patients that is unmatched anywhere I have ever been. To a person, there is always a cheerful greeting even if it is coming from the other end of a long hallway. This review is my means of expressing my appreciation and love for each of the staff, past and present, for what they have done for me. One could not ask for any more of them.

The OWNER was berating, shaming, yelling, cussing and pacing the entire facility calling this woman (front desk, not sure name) incompetent and making all kinds of accusations. I was in the waiting room maybe 10-15 minutes max and this man did not stop. He came to the waiting area and addressed myself and 2 other patients, he threw up his arms and states, "well, I am sorry". At this point, I'm just so floored by watching this go down I cuss at him. I stayed waiting to be called back and he came back to the desk sat in a chair in front of her and continued his tirade. I wish I could make this sound LESS dramatic but it was way worse than my description makes it sound. I proceeded to cross my name off the list, I sunk to his level and cussed him out and turned to walk out. THIS MAN CAME AROUND THE DESK AND WALKED AFTER ME TO SCREAM AT ME. Never in my whole life. I wanted to take that woman by the hand and run out of that office with her. I do not know the situation behind this but it was unacceptable all the way around. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE!!! And I LOVED this office. Dr. Heller was fantastic and helped me heal an injury that took me out of work. I would rather have this neck pain the rest of my life than go back to that office. I left shaking so bad my man had to come pick me up. Just appalled. My mouth hung open that whole time.

Dr. Liao is a very intuitive holistic care provider. I have been working with her for over ten…read moreyears and have nothing but excellent feedback concerning her care of my health. I have been treated for all kinds of things from menstrual challenges, car accident pain, GERD/Acid Reflux, to my auto-immune issue (AA). One of the things that I appreciate about Dr. Liao's holistic approach is that unlike western medicine doctors who primarily treat symptoms, Dr. Liao works to identify the cause of symptoms and fix the problem. I think that her prices are reasonable because her treatment is effective. An example of her efficacy: my Primary Care Physician had diagnosed me with GERD and planned for me to take Prilosec ($25/box) for the rest of my life. I received acupuncture and guidance from Dr. Liao and within 3 months, I had minimal symptoms and did not need any medication. Within 6 months, I no longer had any symptoms. I know many other people who have had the same diagnosis and have spent over 10 years using acid inhibitor drugs. Another example: I had been experiencing a high level of fatigue for years. I had seen several different doctors, and the only thing that any of the doctor's could come up with was that I might have had mono. I was tested repeatedly, and when the tests came back negative month after month, I received no medical treatment. The day I met Dr. Liao, she gave me a visual inspection, and asked me several questions. After our 5 minute visit, she gave me a few simple dietary restrictions and one bottle of herbs. Within 2 days, I felt like a different person with normal energy levels. I never had that issue again. What can I say . . . her office is clean, she is a great communicator, and her acupuncture and herbs have both been very effective in helping me. I would give Dr. Liao my highest recommendation.

She does Saturday! Sharon found out where the pain was and used a combination of massage, suction cups and acupuncture to ease the pain. The office is clean and simple. It's welcoming and not scary like a dentist's office haha. I would definitely recommend others to come in if they have any injuries!

I was distraught and confused and she so graciously gave me space to ask a million questions and process everything that came up. She was the first person to tell me that I didn't *have* to get his tie released. And the first person to actually hear me. We began with longer sessions multiple times a week. Dr. Corey also taught me exercises so that I could continue our work at home, supporting his body to open and extend after 9 months of flexion in the womb. Within just a few sessions my sons latch was significantly improved. Within a few weeks our challenges completely resolved. He's now walking and talking and thriving. Dr. Corey is a mom with first hand experience, a mentee of Michale Chatham, and an overall passionate and skilled practitioner. I can confidently say that Dr. Corey has more knowledge, wisdom, and skill around the tongue tie phenomena than 99.9% of professionals in the field. I am so grateful to Dr. Corey and her quantum approach, saving my son from an unnecessary and invasive procedure and encouraging greater attunement between myself and my children. After all, my children and all that they are expressing (including physical symptoms) are inextricably tied to me and the lifestyle we live. I highly recommend Dr. Corey to ALL new moms to gain a better understanding of their infants and how to support their unfurling, resolving any tension or structural affects of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. And support their own nervous systems and integration as well!
