I would give a zero if possible. Contacted these guys, got a quote, agreed and waited for a timeline for the job. I never got contacted by anyone. So, I messaged the office and was told they would contact me promptly. Never got contacted. At this point it's 2 weeks out. Still no calls, texts or otherwise. Contacted the office once again and the owner told the office person that they would definitely be here right after Easter. Nope. Never happened. They have completely ignored me and never contacted me or told me a timeline to do the job. Apparently, they have enough business and my measly little quote to remove an already cut tree wasn't worth their time. From the reviews I've seen, this is a habit for them. Not returning calls, not contacting about the job that was already agreed on and just outright ignoring their clients. This is supposed to be a Veteran owned business. They make Veterans look bad if that is the case. Pretty pathetic. read more

I wish I had never had them do my trees. They ruined so may things at my house. They broke my bird bath and stones on my patio, they knocked out my mailbox, broke water line (without water several hours), tore a hole in my screen on porch, hit sprinkler valve. They were working 3 house down came to see if I needed any tree service done and I had a tree that fell. they did a work order and said they would come take care of it and never showed up and didn't even call. Apparently they are not trustworthy or dependable and they don't have time to bother with small jobs. read more

Update: they never came back to fix our septic line. They keep saying "we will come tomorrow!" Or, "we will come next week". Then, they never show up. It was months ago. In addition to the broken septic, they also used our power washer, racked up our water bill, and now our power washer won't start. Very sad that this is the final result of an otherwise great job. read more

We originally spoke with Lisa and she was nice and quoted a fair price. Said she would be there the following day to start work. The next day no one showed and called to speak with Dean, the owner. Was told that Lisa could not schedule work without him. That's confusing but no big deal everyone gets things mixed up every now and then. Owner said he would be there the next business day. After no call or showing my wife called. He was very rude so we cancelled the job before it started. The owner stated that they do not schedule work, they only call before coming over to start. In all my dealings with contractors I have never dealt with anyone that had such a bad attitude toward their customers. read more

Jacob and his crew came out to my area in Alabama after a tornado hit my home. I had a tree laying on my house that needed to be removed and the Tree Guardian people came up asking if we needed help to remove it. They were storm chasing and had swooped into the area in less than 24 hours after the storm had hit. They never let me see costs to do that because I "had insurance and we go through the insurance for you to make it easier". Well the reason they do that is because they price gouge and take advantage of people in their time of need. They have charged me $21,000 to remove a tree from my home. The average price for tree removal in Alabama is $700. There is a difference in "paying for a quality job" and ripping people off. I don't mind paying for quality, but I do mind paying people that take advantage of others. read more

My Mother called and spoke with Lisa. She had Logan call her back. My mother told him exactly what she wanted and he agreed with her. A price was quoted. He came over and she signed the paperwork. The day him and his crew came over they did not do what my mother requested. He gave excuses and reasons why it couldn't be done. Myself and my mother both told him that what was requested was not done. My mother texted him and he kept saying we were happy and agreed with what was done. That never happened. We both mentioned that what was talked about was not done. He sent the climbers back up to trim a few branches, but not do what we wanted. We are not trying to not pay, we just want done what was talked about. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. I CAN'T REITERATE THIS ENOUGH. They didn't finish the job they were SUPPOSED TO DO. I would NEVER EVER EVER recommend this tree company. They do not do jobs well, or completely. I would give a zero rating if I could. read more

I can't give less than zero stars. Too bad. I would give negative stars if I was able to. They came out and removed two trees and a fire pit. Positives: they did a good job and we got a great price. Negatives: Their communication with their customers is horrible, unless they want to get paid. Then they call every two minutes. Their crew left their water bottles, coffee cups, and Gatorade when they left, so my wife had to clean it up. The owner of the company (Dean) told my wife they didn't clean up because it started to rain. We weren't aware that people are unable to clean up after themselves in the rain. They had to come back to finish the job (understandable due to the rain); however, there was no phone call or any communication that they were coming back to our house while we were gone. When my wife called the owner and told him about it, he copped an attitude, which made her cop an attitude, and his response was to ask her to never use their company again and hang up on her. So they want the work, but if this is the way the OWNER of the company treats customers, find someone else to take care of your trees. read more

Upon approaching our house, Lisa was very friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us a quote and said that the job would be done exactly proper. An hour and a half later the owner/ operator Dean shows up with his crew, and without three words out of my mouth starts hacking away at my hundred fifty year old Live Oak. They did not even do a full prune, outside of the fact that Dean was very very rude and unprofessional yelling at my mother and telling me that I shouldn't be smoking cigarettes at my own house. He would not listen to a word that we said, and interrupted every sentence we tried to make. Dean got very angry and tried to leave in the middle of the job so that he could "take us to court". Lisa made it very clear from the consultation that they were hurting for work. He only wanted to make money off of the job or off of court. No professional would act in the way that he did. HE WAS HORRIBLE. I CAN'T REITERATE THIS ENOUGH. He didn't finish the job he was SUPPOSED TO DO and was VERY RUDE the entire time. Then whenever we tried to contact the company less than an hour after the fact to say that we were not impressed and it was not $3,000 worth, and if they were willing to fix it, they hung up on us!
