This is specifically for the EIRMC ER, so does not replace my previous review, but adds to it. After being released from EIRMC for open heart surgery, I had another significant incident 11 days later. I was happily recovering, and was typing at my computer. Our dog ran in from outside, and I said, "Aura, go see your Mooooommmmeeeee." I told my spouse I felt very weird on my left side, so we immediately drove to the ER. I went in saying "I may have had a stroke." Quickly moved to an ER room, they ran multiple tests including an MRI. They told me I did have a stroke, but I wasn't exhibiting any further issues, so they kept me overnight for observation, but released me about noon the next day. That lasted about six hours. I took a nap as soon as I got home, then awakened to call my spouse. "I can't move my left arm and I can't walk well." Back to the ER, more tests and another MRI. They checked me in (turns out it was the same room I'd vacated earlier) and apologized for releasing me prematurely. The stroke area had grown, they went through a few theories over the next few days, settling on a Progressive Ischemic Stroke (PIS), one that "keeps on giving" :( Not much you can do about a stroke, I'd already been on blood thinners due to the heart surgery. After five days, I passed enough hurdles against another stroke and in initial rehab to "graduate" to the sixth floor - their inpatient rehab center. I still couldn't do anything with my left arm, could walk carefully with a walker and assistance, and my speech had improved, but I would be needing rehab for quite some time. I appreciated the ER's response, but of course wish I hadn't been released so quickly.

My husband had a heart attack. It was the very serious one called "The Widow Maker!" The doctors…read moreand support staff at EIRMC were totally professional in their handling of this crisis. They stabilized my husband for 22hours but were ready all the time to take him into surgery if needed. The delay allowed testing to be done so the surgery early the next morning went well. They saved my husband's life! They were pleasant to work with and extremely professional in all aspects. I highly recommend EIRMC!

I'm sharing my experience as a new patient at Ridgeline Medical because I think it may help others…read moredecide whether this type of care is the right fit for them. 1. Intake Confusion & Reassignment Between Providers At my first appointment, I brought a list of basic, over-the-counter supplements. There was a misunderstanding, and the clinic believed I was taking peptides. Because of this, I was moved from Monica to Christina for follow-up care. I later learned that none of my supplements were peptides, which made me feel as though my intake information may not have been fully reviewed before decisions were made about redirecting me. 2. Appointment Length Did Not Match What Was Documented My appointment with Christina was documented as a one-hour visit, but we spent about ten minutes together. I had prepared a list of questions ahead of time, but there wasn't enough time to go over most of them. The visit felt rushed, and I left without clarity on several concerns I came in to discuss. 3. Injectable Medication With No Instructions I was prescribed an injectable medication, but I did not receive any instruction on how to administer it--no verbal guidance, no written steps, and no demonstration on: * how to draw the medication * which needle to use * how to give the injection safely When I tried to do it at home, I later discovered I used the wrong needle type, which was stressful and something that could have been avoided with basic instruction. 4. Cash-Pay Model Disclosed Only After the Appointment When I got home and went through my packet, I found a letter explaining that Christina would be transitioning into a $350 cash-pay-only model, with required 12-week follow-ups. This had not been mentioned during the appointment, and had I known that beforehand, it would have significantly affected my decisions. 5. IV Department Felt Disconnected From the Medical Staff During my IV visit, the staff member overseeing the infusion had not reviewed my chart and asked detailed questions I had already answered with two other staff members. I later learned the individual was not a nurse. This added to the feeling of inconsistent communication between departments. 6. Internal Transfer Into the Aesthetic Division (Not By Choice) Because of the earlier misunderstanding about supplements, I was shifted internally into interactions with staff on the Aesthetic side--even though my care was scheduled through Ridgeline Medical and billed through insurance. I did not seek Aesthetic services; this happened entirely due to the clinic's internal processes. Later, when I shared feedback with the clinic, I was told I should review Ridgeline Aesthetics instead of Ridgeline Medical--despite the fact that all of my appointments, billing, and treatment were through the Medical division. This created even more confusion. 7. Owner Contacted Me Once, But Not After Later Concerns The owner did reach out to me initially, and I appreciated that. However, after two later concerns developed, I sent follow-up messages and did not receive a response. 8. Two Unexpected Public Encounters After Leaving Feedback After leaving feedback, I experienced two separate encounters in public with a staff member I had interacted with at the clinic. In the first encounter, I was addressed by an alias I had used only in a review, not the name I used in the clinic. This was unexpected and made me uncomfortable. I emailed the owner afterward but did not receive a reply. A week later, there was another public interaction involving the same staff member, which again felt inappropriate and left me unsettled. I emailed the owner a second time but received no response. These two experiences ultimately made me feel the need to share my experience publicly so future patients have the full picture. Overall Summary Ridgeline Medical may be a good fit for people who prefer a boutique-style, cash-pay model with integrated Medical and Aesthetic components. However, in my personal experience: * communication between departments was inconsistent * injectable medication instructions were not provided * appointment lengths did not match the time documented * important cash-pay changes were disclosed only after the visit * internal handoffs between Medical and Aesthetics were confusing * I experienced two uncomfortable public encounters after providing feedback I'm sharing this so others can make an informed decision about whether this kind of clinic structure and care model aligns with what they're looking for.

After double bypass open heart surgery (CABG) at EIRMC performed by Dr. Riveron with assistance from Logan Cutts, normally the cardiologist would do followup, but Dr. Riveron was a visiting physician helping out for a week. I had the pleasure of having Logan Cutts do my followup for the next ten weeks. The first post hospital followup had Logan enter the room, glance at his notes, and say "Lose 20 pounds." Not a suggestion, a statement. His kind, but blunt statements were impactful and effective. (I've lost 25 pounds since then.) I had significant blood pressure issues after that and Logan adjusted my bp meds to keep it in line. He also advised me on cardiac rehab, saying I should delay it until other rehab could be done. His manner was friendly, informative, and calming during a tough time. While in the hospital, I heard many times - "Logan? Everyone knows and likes Logan!" After ten weeks, I had found and had one visit with my new cardiologist (my previous one had retired), so Logan passed me on giving me best wishes and continued health. It was a great heart followup experience!
