Due to the timing, not all the booth spaces were occupied. We spent about a half hour walking around checking out the folks that were there. There weren't many folks shopping. The vendors are on grass and dirt. You have to be a bit careful walking around as there are many dips and holes in the ground. There was one produce vendor. We got some lovely huge radishes from them for only $1. Most of the other vendors were clothing, tools and accessories, jewelry and a couple household items. One vendor had a mix of antiques, junk, and collectibles. I did find a gal selling some miscellaneous items on a side table -- just to get rid of them at 50 cents apiece. From her, I bought a lovely sheesham wood box that had been spray painted silver. I'll use this for an art project. I also got a pretty silver and black bracelet. So, two bargains for just a $1. They're only open certain days. So double check before you make the trip. I imagine in season -- and not after a holiday -- that there are more vendors, and it would be more worthwhile. I'm still glad we got to go. Always like checking out the different markets and thrifts.

The market itself is mostly covered, and there is a bar and band stand. There is also various food vendors including a bakery and hot dog stand, as well as whatever boiled peanuts are. Sellers seem to enjoy the experience of being there more than actually selling something, as I saw no purchases in my 3 hours there on a Saturday. Miss Pat has so many booths but there are fun signs to find her and she is a delight when you do. Dont forget to check out the military museum in the back. Lots of great stuff to honor veterans. There is even a jeep. Most booth ownes are older retirees. Place is definitely old, but lots of charm, and lots of well loved items. Nostalgia walking around looking at everything. New and old items (toya, clothes, Legos, Beenie Babies, music instruments, jewelry, gpet items, THC). Most taken care of well. There is usually a large and good selection of items ranging from furniture to art, book and music records. I found some excellent bargains on furniture from the 1930s. I love that they are usually able to work on the price with you, and they get in a lot of new stock regularly so if you don't find what you need one week it may well be there the next week. They are also able to do deliveries in Sarasota for a reasonable price. Great customer service

Still a solid three star experience…read more It's been over seven years since we have come here so a lot has changed. There used to be a ton of stalls in the front, but now they've been condensed in the back area. There are still a ton of stalls, though, and some of them are even air-conditioned. This is definitely a place that you have to go in knowing exactly what you're looking for. It's a lot of thrift items. We were just browsing, so one son saw a hot wheel car that he wanted. It's Onward, which is a Pixar movie. When we asked about it, we found out that it was $20, which was definitely too much for a five-year-old who just wanted to play with it. I understand that it's a collectors item though, so I get why there is an up charge. What's a little ironic is the next day we went to a target that we normally don't go to and we found the exact same car for five dollars. I think we were super lucky though, but just don't think every item there is at a lower price than if you find it at the store, because some of them are collectors items. My other son loved the 3-D printing stall and the prices were super reasonable there. He ended up getting a little dragon. Parking is super easy, it's on grass though so if it's raining, I bet it gets pretty muddy. There are a couple food trucks and food stalls where you can get things like tacos and coffee. This is a fun place to browse but not someplace I'll go often. If I come back it will be with a purpose.

TIP - Bring cash!…read more I've heard about Swap-O-Rama in the little town of Webster for quite a while now, and I finally had the chance to visit! They're only open on Mondays, which normally doesn't work with my schedule (lol). But with Memorial Day falling on a Monday, we finally made the trip. It is also their busiest day of the year. We arrived around 9:30 a.m., though I believe they open as early as 7 a.m. Even though we stayed until around 11:45, we probably only covered about 1/3 of the entire venue. The place is big! Swap-O-Rama features both indoor and outdoor spaces, with rows and rows of vendors selling everything imaginable. From antiques, tools, clothes, electronics, collectibles, handmade crafts, plants, and household items. They also have an entire aisle of produce and fruits. We left with a couple pounds of grapes for just $2 and a decent-sized watermelon for $3. Once we got home, my husband sliced it up, it was sweet and delicious. There's no shortage of food here. We saw vendors selling: Fresh coffee and lemonade, Kabobs, Kettle corn, Corn on the cob, Hot dogs, beer and more. Swap-O-Rama in Webster is a fun day trip worth making, especially on Memorial Day. I am already making plans to go back next year.
