Chris is a pro and a great guy, I will definitely be recommending him to everyone I know and look forward to working with him again personally- if there were 10 stars he'd get them

I have ended up making the trip from Seattle down to San Diego the last two years because I had such an amazing time! Although each adventure has been so different and specific to the person it is constructed for, they all have been amazingly fun, creative, and thoughtful. The events are flexible enough to allow for those extremely enthusiastic participants to really dive deep into the theme and story, while also providing the ability for those more "along for the ride" to thoroughly enjoy themselves and engage as they are comfortable. In my experience, everyone becomes inspired to let loose, embrace the challenges, get a little goofy, and have fun with the people around you. These adventures promote a sense of community and comradery between friends and strangers. Constructed Adventures provides shared experiences that provide a fun excuse to step a little outside your comfort zone, connect with people you've never met before, and act like a kid for a couple hours...or in the words of my eleven year old self, "duuuuuuude, so good!"

This is my first time participating in this awesome scavenger hunt type activity. My first time…read moredoing GISHWHES. I love it! Tonight is the last day. One of my challenges was to feed the homeless. I took this one on because my trunk always looks like I live out of it so I was prepared. I shop for different things I think would be useful to a homeless person and make packages in giant ziplock bags. As I drive around running errands if I bump into a homeless person, I offer a bag. They usually take it and respond by telling me, "God bless you". That feels awesome. I never thought I'd be writing a review about something I did pretty quietly but seeing as Gishwhes is supposed to bring out the best in people, I thought it would be nice to share. Today I handed out the last bags I had left in my trunk so it's time to shop and prepare some more. It's too bad this is the last year for Gishwhes because I would definitely do this every year.

What an incredible week! Gishwhes is strange by definition and can be difficult to explain to one…read moreunfamiliar with it, but I highly recommend the experience if you get the chance. I've participated in the hunt for three years now, and have co-captained my team for the last couple of years, and I learn more and enjoy myself more every time. And of course, each experience will be very unique! I often spend a lot of time doing the fun, crazy, weird items that will bring a smile to people's faces (and that I'll have fun doing, in between cursing Misha). But some of my favorite ones are also the kindness items, such as volunteering or donating to a charitable organization or leaving encouraging and inspirational messages for people to find. This year, I took a day off of work so I could spend more time on the kindness items. A coworker and friend of mine joined me, and one of the things we did was prepare and bring meals to the homeless. He had experience with giving out food before and knew they would appreciate sandwiches, chips, and drinks. We drove around our city of Portland, which has a large homeless population, until we saw an encampment, and stopped to give the prepared meals to the people there. They were very appreciative - it felt good to do something small like that that may have made their day. So, even though by the end of Gishwhes I'm exhausted both physically and emotionally, it is worth it. The weirdness, the joy, the kindness, the community, all of it is worth that type of expense. And we have the amazing Misha Collins and gishers the world over to thank for it.
