We had a glass of Prosecco and an old fashion, both were delicious. There is a shuffle board table, old Nintendo with excite bike and some slot machines for entertainment but one of the most entertaining things is sitting by the fire place and watching the tv that is positioned over the top. It shows the people who are trying to get in to the speakeasy and their reactions when the door opens. That is when some kid on a scooter came and started harassing us about my AUTOMATIC truck light (in the bed on the truck only) being on while he can actively see we are trying to figure out the radio. About 2 minutes later he came back, as we were waiting for the automatic lights to turn off, and started harassing us further. Almost yelling at us practically to turn them off when the previews were still on and no other light was on. Many other people had their actual headlights and taillights on, while we had one small light above the truck bed which was about to turn off automatically. Overall, we felt targeted and harassed, and will not be back. Note ( as we were leaving early, many others had a truck bed light on, without confrontation)

As a fan of…read moreall things movies, I was in "squee!" mode the entire time my husband and I got to visit this historic venue. The experience was enriched by the brand-new digital projector. The picture looked just as bright and bold as any movie theater screen, only you can watch the film from the comfort of your own car! Some teens parked in a pick-up truck behind us had the great idea of watching the movie from the back of the truck in sleeping bags. On cool Montana nights, it really doesn't get any better. Pair your movie with real buttered popcorn, candy, and soda, and you have an inexpensive, authentic American experience. Why go to a multiplex when you can watch a film in the great outdoors and watch a movie by moonlight? If you have never been to a drive-in, it's about time you got out there. Films start at dusk, and they mean it. There was only one preview when we saw "Wolverine," and they didn't start the movie until dark. Don't forget to turn off your headlights!

Only pay for soda, snacks and popcorn. Dont be surprised if only about 12 local folks fill the chairs alongside you, in this ginormous theatre. Remember, Anaconda is a sleepy town these days and this is just how small town life in Montana works. ... oh and you pay $.50 if you want to sit in the balcony to enjoy the movie. EDIT: I forgot to tell you that they legitimately stop the movie half way through for a brief intermission. Get up & stretch your legs or go take a potty break. Then wonder down to the lobby for refills on refreshments or sit and chit- chat with your friends, on one of the many fancy couches that are scattered throughout the lobby.
