The food here is excellent. About 6-8 quid for most meals on the menu, the selection is wide and the portions are huge. Six of us went the other day, we all got something different and everyone of us thought it was delicious. There's a bus stop just outside through which the 36 passes. This will get you back to most places in Hartlepool and it runs till after last orders!

Even though I had handed my notice in to the pub, I didn't receive a telephone call, email, anything to say "no you have to come back" nothing, the management are that incompetent that they didn't know Id left till 2 weeks later, they didn't even read the notice at all, it was left behind the bar because they couldn't be bothered to deal with it. Hopefully with an official complaint the management rot will be swiftly dispatched as I have the evidence to have the lot shifted back to the dole where they belong, I will never walk into another weatherspoons establishment again they are a disgraceful pack of people who couldn't work in a team or run a prayer in a mosque let alone a knees up in a boozer !
