My friends and I wanted to go to Mount Pulag, but we were very unfamiliar with Baguio. Also, as lifelong city people, nature can be quite trying for us. As a result, we decided to enlist Travel Factor's services to help us navigate to the top of Mount Pulag I was very satisfied with Travel Factor's services. We were always on schedule. The guides were very knowledgeable, entertaining and were always prepared. They readily answered any questions that we might have had and were always careful to manage our expectations. What I appreciated most was that after a 6 hour overnight bus ride from Manila, followed by a 2 hour jeepney ride followed by 4 hours of walking uneven terrain, when we got to the camp site, all the tents were already prepared. While most of my comrades decided to explore the woods, I was just very thankful that I had a place to crawl in and sleep. The next best thing I appreciated was breakfast the next day. When we woke up, the guides already has instant noodles and champorado cooking over a small fire. After sleeping through almost freezing temperatures, it was definitely one of the best meals I've ever had in my life. In spite of my eternal crankiness, my Mount Pulag adventure was made memorable thanks to Travel Factor. read more

I'm all for solo travelling. Sometimes, it's difficult to wrangle up a group for just the right time and financial capacity to go on an out of town trip. And while it's great fun to travel with friends, my wanderlust sometimes just gets the better of me. This is why I'm so thankful I stumbled upon Travel Factor's site. They offer trips in and out of the country, with the best possible experiences and highlights. It's all for a reasonable price too! And it doesn't matter if you're alone, you can join a Travel Factor group and meet new people! For the adventurous (like me!), they offer hikes, spelunking, surfing packages, and backpacking trips. For a chill weekend, you could also join their food trips, bike sessions, or photography walks. Travel Factor takes care of everything for you on your trip so you don't have to worry about booking this tour or this hotel - it's all served on a silver platter and you can just sit back and enjoy the experience. read more

When I'm not working as a magazine editor, I like to spend my days off out of town. My first trip with Travel Factor was to Mt. Pulag. From the transportation, to accommodations (a.k.a. tents), and to the meals, the group had it all covered. All I had to do was pay for my slot and pack my bags. Like true professionals, a pre-climb was also scheduled to give us Pulag newbies some reminders before the trip. Traveling with Travel Factor also means quality, so much so that we got to camp out at the extension of Camp 2 where it was less crowded. But the trip wouldn't have been the same without the company of new friends--which is another experience that comes with traveling with a reputable travel company. I'm always on the lookout for an adventure and backpacking Indochina with these guys seems like the next good idea. read more

For the insatiable wanderlust like mine, I'm definitely up for tons of adventure especially the ones that involve exploring the beautiful islands of the Philippines. For easier planning and travel coordination, I usually contact agencies and tour organizers to make everything easier. For my recent beach party, I went to Travel Factor's event, Summer Siren and just partied the weekend away. It was a major summer event that I think had a good turnout because of the outstanding sponsors and other beach activities. If you check their website, they already have the year planned out. You just have to find the ones that fit your schedule and budget. I must say that Travel factor is more than just a travel agency, they make every trip a rockstar party. read more

We all fancy ourselves as adventurers, but most of us don't really have the skills to survive outdoors. Leave me in the woods and I'd probably survive 30 minutes before a tree falls on me or I ingest a toxic mushroom. It doesn't matter if I've seen every episode of Man vs Wild; the Wild will still win 100% of the time. Fortunately, even when we do have the itch to head into the wilderness, we don't have to go it alone. With the growth in local tourism over the years, local tour organizers have also started to pop up all over the place. One of the most experienced and reliable is Travel Factor. We joined them for our trek up Mt Pulag, and they took care of everything. All we had to do was walk, and the provided everything we needed from tents to food to stories. We even got IDs, just in case we got lost like little children. Sure, it might have been more impressive had we gone on our own, but I prefer not being mauled by bears or falling down ravines as Bear Grylls would have me believe. read more
