They had the only website that listed prices for most popular drives flat out; they did not demand "+tip" like other sites; and they are run by women. As a small, older woman, this felt comfortable. My flight was early and Shannon was already waiting for me. She offered me the option to recline my seat and nap (early morning flight), but we chatted and the longish ride passed pleasantly. He makes me feel safe whether I'm working or relaxing on my way to the airport. He carries the correct commercial insurance so I also feel if the unmentionable happened , I wouldn't be screwed if I was injured by lack of coverage. I use AJ2Day about 40 weeks out of the year. Mainly rides to the airport and sometimes a ride from the Tampa airport back to Homosassa. His prices are great which I don't post as that's up to you and him to figure out!! Ubers are unreliable in Homosassa, not the drivers themselves ( don't get offended) but the service and lack there of( my experience only). I can count on Andrew and if he's busy he will sometimes assist me with another company or I can figure it out on my own. I highly recommend Andrew and AJ2Day Transportation!!

Five days before our return flight, I texted to confirm the pickup date and time. On the day we were to be picked up at the airport, we received a text that he would be unable to fulfill his commitment. His reasoning was that because of the government shutdown and the problems with the air traffic controllers, he was tired and had spent much of past few days waiting for plane arrivals. AJ, Andrew Doubleday, also indicated that he had an early morning obligation and that he needed to rest. So, we arrived at Tampa international airport with no scheduled way to get back home. We ended up taking an Uber because AJ2day Transportation reneged on his contract with us. While none of us could control the problems with the air traffic controllers, this is his business, and he should have honored his agreement.
