In 2021, during the pandemic, we worked with Steve Aves to plan a trip to the Maldives. He was terrific to work with. But this year we planned a family trip to Iceland. We were disappointed. Phone calls went unreturned. Tours we asked him to book for us were haphazardly made. Some were scheduled. Others we ended up doing ourselves because he didn't follow through. For example, he booked one tour on a day when we staying on the opposite side of the island. It was a six-hour drive one-way to get there. When we raised concerns before departing, he kept saying, "It's a small island." It is an island the size of Ohio with unreliable roads across the interior.
