Delicious, especially the original flavor. I like the Pina flavor too. I love all the Micha flavors.

Southern California has arguably the best Mexican food in the United States and having experienced…read morethe joys of streetside taquerias in LA, I was elated to learn about Street Tacos Migue which has been operating near Bellaire Chinatown for the past few years. The experiences have been mixed, but I am holding out the hope for future potential. The setup couldn't be more ideal: visibility from the busy streets, plenty of free parking due to being in a lot, and a display of food with a proper pastor trompo and stewed meats, aguas frescas, along with a line of people. The eye test alone would fall in favor with my biggest desires of a taco scene minus the absence of any kind of seating. As far as I can tell, the following meats are offered: trompo, tripa, suadero, longaniza, pollo, asada. The fact they don't mention "fajita" is clearly a nod to how LA they are. (#1) Tacos are the most popular item but the meats are also available in quesadilla, torta, and burrito form. The process is an assembly line of sorts, where one orders, pays, receives, and then manually add all the condiments. I love their tubs of pickled onions, limes, cucumber slices, and a plethora of excellent salsas. Food wise, the suadero and trompo have been the most consistent. The former has a hint of lard but a crispy and juicy finish. The longaniza, asada, and pollo have been solid, but there have been some moments of dryness where even the salsa couldn't save it. One thing that isn't similar to LA is the price, which has been conveniently removed from the signage as of last year. This is an issue with many streetside taquerias in Houston frankly, which is disappointing for the lack of transparency. Last I recall, each taco was about $3. The other issue is the wait -- which depending on one's order can definitely take a while. I appreciate the need for replenishing and making things to order, but aguas frescas and sometimes tortas are tougher orders to fulfill quickly. This is not a place I'd recommend visiting if one is in a hurry. They operate only on the weekends (Fri-Sun) between 8PM and 1AM, on the Bellaire Blvd (& Gessner) side in front of the Jefferson Dental Clinic. (#2) I do think there is a lot of potential here, and I hope they manage to get some of those issues corrected soon. ___________ (#1) Please, can someone explain to my why taco trucks in Houston call asada, "fajita?" Saw this place while driving home from another restaurant; they had a long line so I had to try it…read more I decided to try this place whenever I got the chance. These tacos are very fresh and they basically are cooking the meat in front of you. I think they need more flavor, salt, seasoning, or something. The salsa lacks flavor - green salsa was mild, and red salsas were hot! Pina agua fresca was good, be ready to wait about 30-45 minutes so be ready!

The tacos are well priced at $2 each unless you get the tripas which are a bit more. The pastor is my favorite meat followed by the campechano, suadero, and tripas. The fajita and bistek were just okay to me. I typically get tacos and the pastor quesadilla which comes in a small or large. I love the grilled onions that each order comes with. The green salsa has a good kick and the orange is too spicy for me. Overall, this is a great taco spot. Service is good and everything is nice and clean. I've come here quite a few times and there was only one instance where they got my order wrong which they quickly took care of. I highly recommend trying it out!

This is a busy food truck with a good amount of designated parking spots, though, whenever I come,…read moremost of them are filled up. Food takes about 10-15 minutes. Both corn and flour tacos are $2 each, as of July 2025. Tripa tacos are extra, at $3. They also give you grilled onions instead of raw onions for the tacos. Been here a few times and there were inconsistencies with flavor almost every time. Specifically, the fajita, chicharron, and trompo are sometimes not as flavorful as in the past. Nothing bad, but sometimes a letdown when I know how good it can be. If they were consistent, I'd probably give them 5 stars. Also, one time, I noticed the flour tortilla sizes were inconsistent, which makes me think they get them handmade from somewhere. FAJITA: Good flavor, moist, tasted just like the suadero. I didn't like that it's in tiny chopped pieces, even though the menu says they're in strips. SUADERO: Good flavor, moist, tiny chopped pieces, tasted just like the fajita. BISTEK: Very chewy. Too chewy. Accidentally got it again because I got it confused with the fajita, and, that time, it wasn't as chewy, but it was still tough. Definitely not juicy like it says on the menu. Wouldn't get it again. TRIPA: Great flavor, moist, large and slightly crispy pieces! TROMPO: Good and moist! CARNITAS: Decent. Not super moist, but not dry. CHICHARRON: Good! Very soft. CHORIZO: Good! Light spice. Very flavorful! Crumbly. FAJITA TORTA: Light, fluffy bread. They're never very generous with the meat in their tortas, but the fajita tastes great! POLLO TORTA: It was fine. Fajita was better. Got small complimentary CHARRO BEANS because they forgot which meat we asked for in the tortas and we had to wait another 10mins. They were pretty good.
