The worship is one of a kind and allows me to truly express my gratitude towards the Lord while keeping me engaged. Pastor Paul is a truly blessed preacher of the word. Straight from the Bible, he has a gift to deliver messages that always hit home and seem to highlight my weeks struggles by reminding me what the Lord has in store and how to renew. There are plenty of Volunteer opportunities after taking appropriate classes to get their volunteers, multiple ministries, multiple ways to engage to bring the Lord to others and to remind those of Christ how to serve. Victory is active not only locally, but in other states with disasters and worldwide with missions. Baptism service allows multiple people, planned or unplanned, to become baptized, and backstage, you further that understanding with appointed Victory members who volunteer to pray for your choice after your Baptism, which makes sense due to the large size and open call to Christ mid service to help all who come. If you're in the area or online and need a true Bible based church mixed with modern worship that captures old, new, and the future, try out Victory. Thank you Pastor Paul for your leadership and vulnerability in your preaching and may the Lord continue to further Victory's mission. We moved to Fort Smith but I am so grateful for you're online services.

I had to put my AirPod Pros in on noise cancellation mode just to cope with the dangerously loud decibels that overwhelming this place. There are zero people here over the age of 40. The person giving the message was clearly anti-Trump and said she was bothered by everything that's happened in the past two months, (since Trump took office). I am an elder in Christ's church and didn't feel comfortable at this place at all. I was only here because of a family gathering, but would never choose to go to City Church on my own accord. Did I mention how brutally LOUD the music is? It was absolutely deafening!!!! Seriously folks, turn the volume down. It is horrifically disgusting how loud it is. There are NO acoustic tiles anywhere. There's a black metal ceiling above the rafters and sound bounces around at unsafe levels that should not be sustained by anyone on planet earth.

As a matter of fact, the second church was a split from the first church. In those 10 years I've seen some of the worst things you would think you would ever see in a church. I've experienced lying, deceitful, dishonest and backstabbing people from both places. Once I quit as a pastor I told myself I would never get involved with another church again. Having three kids though, I felt like we needed to be involved somewhere. After looking around I kept coming back to Battlecreek so I told my wife about it and we decided to give it try. As a worship pastor myself I totally get drawn in by music and the worship at TheChurch.at is some of the most powerful I've experienced. All of their campuses have outstanding worship leaders and volunteers. The other thing for me of course is the pastor. All I have to say about Alex is that he is totally anointed and speaks from his heart. We've attended other campuses and I personally don't like watching him on the screen so we attend Battlecreek in Broken Arrow where we see him on stage. Again, that's just a personal preference, it does not detract from the message from watching on the screen. I'm still pulling myself out of the dark with God's help and I'm very thankful for this place. If you are hurting or just in need of a home church I highly recommend giving theChurch.at a try.

It is a magnificent example of Art Deco architecture, perhaps one of the finest in the world. It is a striking landmark on the Tulsa skyline both day and night. And it is a tourist attraction which is what my review will highlight. The attached photo is from our room at the nearby Ambassador Hotel. While the hotel is pricey by Tulsa standards this view alone makes it all worthwhile. Tulsa has many examples of dramatic architecture for its houses of worship but the Boston Avenue United Methodist Church is one that stands alone ... literally ... from every angle. As a tourist attraction it is free and guests are welcome to wander the labyrinth of hallways and stairways. I purposely did not post photos so as not to take away from future visitors sense of exploration and discovery but I will advise not to miss the sanctuary whether you are religious or not. The stained glass and sweeping ceilings are not to be missed. There are many reviews that I've read that say visitors can visit the bell tower and that it is has a great view however the lady at the welcome center seemed to scoff at that. Perhaps because it was a weekday and she didn't want to have to leave her desk. However she was otherwise friendly and helpful as was a gentleman I met from the choir who took a sincere interest in learning about us and our exploits in Tulsa. I recommend spending an hour or two exploring this attraction and if definitely bringing your camera.
