I LOVE Sue at Mindful Massage! I always have anxiety when someone is touching me (especially if I…read moredon't know them). Sue was very conscientious of that. Her communications skills are amazing. She asked several times "is this ok?" or "is this to much or not enough". Sue remembered my likes and dislikes and kept a mental rolodex for the next time (so nice not to have to repeat yourself!). She always kept me informed of what she was going to do before she did it. I think she even asked if I would like for her to stop talking once I got the hang of it. Her sheet work is also phenomenal! I'm pretty chesty and was worried about exposing myself. Sue assured me it wouldn't happen and if it did ...no big deal! Happy to say she must be a magician too! That sheet never came untucked even when I rolled over! Sue focused on my trouble spots (mainly lower back and legs). She paid attention to every inch even some places I didn't think were important... like toes! Who knew those could feel amazing! (Sue, that's who). By the time I left I was anxiety free and so relaxed. My legs felt like butter and all I wanted to do was float home and relax! Sue is the only person I will see from now on! Sue made the entire experience about me and what I wanted and was comfortable with. I'm pretty positive I'm one of those "needy clients", but with Sue I felt comfortable and she accommodated everything. After seeing her several times, now I just walking, lay down and let her work her magic!

I waited about 15 minutes for the massage lady to come into the room. My therapist was overweight, so her belly kept pushing up against my head and body during the massage. She also had body odor that I was smelling. I had to turn my head further down in the headrest due to the odor. She threw in some snarky comments about me being "pidgeon toed" and made comments on my back anatomy. The Asian place I go to only charges $70 for 60 minutes while this place charges $90.

When I got there some lady let me in and said I could wait a bit while they got the room ready. She chilled with me for a bit and we chatted about Jim Carrey movies, watched some of an Adam Sandler movie, talked about how we used to shoot to VHS, basically it was a while. I left a nine.
