Took a 5-day virtual CISSP Bootcamp. From the beginning of signing up, through registering, and completion of the class, the communication, content, and materials were better than anything I received directly from ISC2 or InfoSec Institute or other 3rd party programs that tout how good they are. Proof is in the pudding with Training Camp. Most importantly, the instructor, Joe Barnes, is definitely gifted as an educator. I used to be a teacher and still an instructor (17yrs) and I can fully appreciate his approach, demeanor, and patience. He has an incredible way to relay information in an easily, relatable fashion and does so in a fun, engaging way. I've taken many of classes through both my career certifications and fire department certs as well, and Joe is hands down the best instructor I ever had. Legitimately loves his job, loves to educate and see others learn/succeed, and that is what a true educator does! I would 1000% stand by Training Camp and will refer them to anyone. Overall a great place to get training. I took a CISSP class taught by Mike Gaffey and the instruction was great. The facility is very new and I do believe this is the first technical training I have had where everything works. Parking was never an issue but you will have to park outside instead of the garage area that is reserved. On Saturdays if you have a class that goes over the weekend it is safe to park in the garage. If you decide to bring your lunch or forget there are plenty of places in walking distance to grab a meal. I mentioned the meal options and that's if you need one because Training Camp has some of the best snacks for those attending their classes to keep your hunger away and caffeine levels sufficient to power through some dry subject matter at times. A Pearson Vue testing facility was just built in the same building to make it easier if you would like to take your certification test as soon as class is over with. Good experience and if I have to get training in the future it will be the first place I consider. read more

Eric is an incredible teacher! The CISSP covers a massive amount of material, but Eric has a way of breaking it down into manageable pieces and truly teaching the material--not just 'how to pass the test.' I cannot speak to the previous reviews, but I can speak to the staff and facility today. Training Camp staff were absolutely professional at all times during my registration and time here on site. If you are coming to this facility to train and attain a a certification there is presumed a substantial amount of time studying and working while you are here. The staff I encountered here did everything possible to assist the student in attaining their goals. This included them actually ordering in lunch so that the students were able to maximize time to study. I will absolutely recommend Training Camp to my peers and co workers in the future. The Training Camp effectively prepared me for the Security + exam. My instructor was Matt. Well informed, patient with questions and prepared the class in an organized way. The facility is easy to get to. Plenty of free parking, clean and supplied with snacks and beverages through the boot camp. I highly recommend The Training Camp and Matt! read more

I looked for no star option but they don't have it the place is total scam. ,before I signed up with the security plus class they were calling me everyday non stop to sign in , they guaranteed 100% passing rate and they made it seem that u gonna walk outta their class with the certificate and it was all bullshit . they said they will do 40 hours intense class and that was bs too bec they only did a total of 15 hours in the three days and all what he did was reading a guide book then he said u guys should pass . we were 17 in class and 10 people backed from doing the test after intending this bs and 5 people failed the test and only 2 that passed and after that no body will repond to any calls or emails ,they will put u on the shit list and block ur number and email so u won't never hear back from them . I had to fly from Chicago to San Diego for this bullshit garbage class ,I recommend everybody to stay away from this company read more

I wouldn't recommend Training Camp. I too enrolled in the a PMP (Project Management Professional) certification, four day boot camp. After multiple course delays due to low attendance, I requested a refund as I needed to take the course and not have it continually delayed. Suddenly, they had this partial refund policy, nowhere in their previous e-mails or on their website did they state this policy. After multiple requests for assistance with this, and no reply, I contested the charge with my credit card. The credit card company agreed with me and I got a refund. Had the company had been more responsive, I wouldn't have needed to go through the additional step of contesting the charges. read more

After having to cancel a class a few weeks back, I was asked to contact a Jennifer regarding a refund. She told me that because the class date was too close I was only eligible for a partial refund. The reason I wanted the refund was because I found out I needed back surgery sooner than later, but she refused to budge. I admit I became a little angry, but when I finally ended a call with what seemed like a stuck up teenager who refused to budge, I overheard something horrific. Apparently, Jennifer accidentally did not hang up her phone correctly. I then overheard somebody asking her if she was okay, and her response was, and I quote, "just another n**ger who wanted a refund." I'll never be able to describe how I felt at that moment, but shocked, horrified, At this point I no longer care about a refund. I no longer care about ever hearing from this company again. It took three conversations with my wife just to post this, and I'm sure the company will defend this Jennifer for whatever reasons they have. I just needed to share my story and let them know how shamed I currently feel. read more
