Big Tex dump trailer that I acquired with some property in new condition. First time used with much of a load the hinges on the dump bed failed. They had been welded on crooked and were binding under load. the place I took to have repaired pointed out that it was clearly a factory defect and within the warranty period. Even though service department agreed it was a factory defect, they denied submitting a claim as I was not the original purchaser. Yes, the warranty does exclude any but the original purchaser - but it seems like doing the right thing and taking care of a clear factory defect isn't asking that much. Terrible quality from Big Tex and poor customer service from Trailer World. I've purchased many new trailers including a a 36' Big Tex gooseneck, multiple enclosed trailers and flatbeds. Never again doing business with either Big Tex or Trailer world. read more
