What a great experience at this church! I was passing through the area on a Sunday morning and…read morerandomly was deciding on a church to attend. I had a feeling and landed on this church. As I pulled up to the church I noticed that the size was not what I have been used to in my life. I am used to mega churches, so this was much smaller than a mega church I have attended. I felt very welcomed and warm as I entered. Immediately a women approached me, welcomed me and offered free local eggs, a person from the congregation was giving away, to my wife and I. Worship was great, I enjoyed the variety in the three women singers voices and I definitely felt the presence of God. The senior pastors there are a beautiful couple, Melody was so nice and sweet. She came up on stage to do announcements and then her husband preached a really good service that my wife and I needed to hear. I love the family vibe here and the cultural diversity that is evident when you walk in the building!

The teaching was from the Bible, however when I asked the pastor why he allowed a member of a local secular band , that plays the bars in town, to play worship songs on Sundays? his response was he's not going to correct anything and maybe this isn't the church for us!! Even when I pointed out scripture that supports my concerns (1Timothy 5:22) Do not participate in the sins of others. He did not want to discuss it further which I felt rebuked. He showed no compassion or willingness to take responsibility for what is a contradiction of Gods Word. I feel he, as a pastor, is not above reproach I do not recommend attending this church and we will not be returning.
