My wife and I have now lived at St. Lucie Oaks for 9 months. We have a 2 bedroom, 2 bath…read moreapartment. The apartment was in excellent shape when we moved in. A new dishwasher, washer and dryer were installed before we moved in. The maintenance people are excellent. They are very responsive. We have had them respond in less that an hour for a minor issue. They are very courteous. The complex is very very quiet and well maintained. They are upgrading the gym as we speak with new equipment. There is a very nice tennis court and pool. Management is very responsive.

For starters I own two dogs and have to frequent the "dog poop" area which is an appropriate name for it because it is basically a feces mine field. A cute idea they had was to try and keep people out by having dinky "gate" setup. There are two lanes to this, one is for residents and the other is for visitors with a pin pad. And since NO ONE ever bothers to give visitors a code they will either tailgate you come so fast towards your car that you think they are going to kill you! Another fun thing about this place is that it is right behind the Pour House which plays awful EDM music on Tuesdays and the weekends. The raccoon problem is honestly amazing because I have never lived anywhere that you can walk outside in the morning with garbage literally everywhere because your neighbor doesn't know that raccoons are nocturnal and 11pm is not the appropriate time to put out trash. So in conclusion, this is a "wonderful" place if you intend to never leave your apartment, enjoy cheap carpet and paint, cheap appliances and tons and tons and tons of dog poop!

Maintenance responds to request in a reasonable time and even though I don't like the property manager very much the office staff are great. My girlfriend loves Megan, we always go to her whenever we have an issue and she makes sure it gets fixed for us. I have a lot of family members that live here now and she helped all of them move in and we all love her. Overall I think this is a pretty good place to live and I would recommend it.

Apartment manager admitted they had maintenance clean and paint. I can promise you, you can see the difference. Professional painters do not paint counters,bathtub,toilet, stove, etc, and what they paint is not 1 coat half assed slapped up there. Yet you expect the apartment to be perfect on move out or we lose our deposit. WOW SHADEY!!!!!!

It is dog friendly and many people unfortunately don't clean up after their dogs even though there are stations throughout. Gates - it is gated, however, they break A LOT. It's very annoying how often they break. Most recently they were broken for at least 3 weeks. The new management woman, Kimber, is nice yet strict which I don't think is bad since a lot of people have big getting away with many things! Such as breaking pool rules and parking wherever they want. I have never once had an issue with parking. One time a neighbor parked in my spot, but after leaving a note it didn't happen again. Maintenance staff is great. They normally come on Thursdays to cut the grass. Sometimes they wait a long time though and it's difficult to walk my dog. If you need repairs, people have come to fix things such as my bathtub drain and mold after Hurricane Irma. Many photos they post are of the clubhouse...which can be misleading. Majority of condos are outdated with the tiled floors and older counters. Definitely no new or modern looks. Condos are affordable. Some are cheaper if they have the super old interior.
