I was driving by and noticed a Trader Joe's. Since I was out of my favorite candies, I figured, why not? There was no wait to get inside and I was able to snag a super close parking spot. Only to find out they didn't have my licorice . My hubby and daughter found their snacks and was happy about the trip. Trader Joe's is never a bust. You can always find something in there. This location is probably the biggest I've seen so far. It's definitely bigger than my the one i frequent. The customer service is always great at each location. I went in today to find gluten free cauliflower pizza crust and unfortunately I couldn't reach the top shelf as it was the last one and all the way in the back. Like other TJ's, staff here is friendly and helpful. The store has always been neat and clean every time I've visited. They are well stocked and always have the food staples we need. Located in the same shopping center as the Big Lots and Target, parking can get a little dicey during peak times, and Bellflower has been a nightmare with all the holiday traffic lately. If you have a little one with you, they usually give out stickers, and if you search the store and find the stuffed animal that they hide somewhere inside, your kiddo scores a free lolly! I want to say thanks to the staff and management at my local Trader Joe's. I go into this location at least four to five times a week, and I'm always greeted with friendly people. I especially look for Jen, Brittney, Adelita and a few others who I can not remember by name. I alway purchase sparkling water because it ensures my drinking the recommended amount. When I went into the store for my water purchase, they was no case on the sales floor. Jen went out of her way to look in the back for a case. After seeing more than 10 people walking around maskless, I decided to opt out of giving this business my hard earned money. I put my entire cart back and walked out. In LA county, it is mandatory for masks to be worn inside. This location is not implementing this law. The employees see these patrons and do not ask the maskless customers to abide by the law of which is set. I would understand if it were optional. It would then be the people's right to choose. After losing 2 loved ones in less than a wk I take this virus seriously. As do most of us in LA. We, the patrons, rely on your establishment to abide by these laws so we can have a safe environment so we can see our friends and family in the future. This location is failing to provide a safe environment for it's patrons according to the laws of LA county. Traders Joe's is the truth. I have been shopping here since 2008. I have never tried anything here that wasn't delicious. The food is so fresh and the price you can't beat. Amazing customer service! I broke my right foot recently and needed help when shopping at TJ's. The team members of this store went above and beyond their call of duty to help. When I visited this store one January 7, 2022, Jaime personally escorted me through the store and put any item I wanted in a shopping cart. Afterwards, she pulled up a chair for me so I can sit comfortably while waiting for my medical ride to take me home. Today, Nick [future lawyer and current LBCC student] stepped in to rescue me. First, he brought me one of the go-cart shopping car [I think Disneyland has those. There is gotta be a silver lining for a broken foot, right?!?] Afterwards, he escorted me to wait for my medical ride. However, my cell phone died so Nick actually called my medical ride company. The entire process took many minutes; yet, Nick was GRACIOUS and GENTLEMENLY the entire time! You are DA BEST!! read more

Aside from being centrally located inside a big shopping plaza with tons of restaurants nearby and target next door, the parking here is also plentiful. Free parking with no wait. Can't beat that!!! There's also a post office next door so you don't have to travel far if you need to go to post office. The staff members here are great. Super friendly and helpful. The shelves are always stocked and lots of selections. Coffee is always full so you can have a small cup to taste the coffee while shopping. Make sure you bring your shopping bags. Paper shopping bags from Trader Joe's is not as dependable than plastic specially if you have to put frozen items that sweats. read more

This place gets a very good rating from me for the simple fact that it is one of the much bigger Trader Joe's locations I have ever visited. Even though it is on the other side of town for me, I'll make the drive here for items and produce that I often can't find at my local Trader Joe's. Located in a big shopping center that has a Target and other shops, Trader Joe's is that some grocery store where you can find anything and everything. It is much bigger, and because of that, it is more packed with people here. I feel they have more in number of the produce that I already get at the one that's nearby my place. One other thing-they have a much better selection of beers, wines and pastries here. I'm beginning to become somewhat of an addict coming here quite often. It's very easy to spend more than $100 on produce and snacks and fruits. read more

This Trader Joe's location on Bellflower in Long Beach is a CLASS ACT! I've been a customer here for a few years now and I am always impressed by the friendly staff and one of a kind customer service!! I have NEVER had a bad experience in this store. If I could, I would give it 10 GOLD stars! I would especially like to applaud the Trader Joe's team for their phenomenal effort as we "travel the unchartered waters" of COVID-19. This morning (March 31, 2020) I stood in line for approx. 40 minutes and found myself smiling at the positive attitude of the young man managing the line of customers outside of the store. He spoke to everyone and made sure to effectively communicate updates on store products. It is the little things that go a loooong way. Came here in the afternoon looking for a few specific Trader Joe's products. The parking lot was crowded, but I was able to find a parking spot. I went inside, got what I was looking for, and went to the checkout. There were only a few people in the checkout lanes - I think everyone was busy shopping in the store. I was able to get in and out of the store without lengthy wait times or lines. read more

Smaller grocery store, so easy if you just want to pop in for a few things. They have their own lines of frozen foods, chocolate and snacks that are pretty good, including Chinese pancakes, Paella, vegetable samosas, all recommended. I like coming here cause Target, Big lots and Cosmoprof is here. Been here hundreds of times but I hate writing reviews of chains because the goal of a chain is to have each one the same so no matter where you go you have the same experience. Nonetheless, Yelp keeps prompting me to write this review and I want it to go away. It's a Trader Joe's just like the one down the street from where you live. It has a large parking lot shared with other big box stores. This one shares the same sandbox with Target, Big Lots, 2 different banks, my favorite touchless car wash, Payless Shoes and a handful of fast food places. (Hi, NY Deli!) It's not a bodega TJ's. Everything you saw in the Fearless Flyer is here. Frozen spinach lasagna, check! Bagged organic baby spinach, yes. Cheese at reasonable prices, okay. Over the years, I've found this grocer is not exactly the paragon of healthy shopping. As I began seeking sodium and nutrition proportionate stuff, my shopping list at TJ's got and continues to get abridged. They're not the greenest place to shop, either, but a few of their items can't be beat for price especially in CA. read more

With the pandemic I have rarely stepped foot outside of my house to go into the outside world. I needed some groceries however and decided to stop by Trader Joe's to pickup a few essential items. It was a terrible day and the last place I wanted to be was at the grocery store, this changed when I went to the register. The employee named Jen gave me the most AMAZING customer service experience I have ever had. Her energy was through the ROOF and I couldn't help but feel that my day had gotten better because her energy had rubbed off on me. Boy was I glad I decided to end my bad day at this Trader Joe's. Parking is such a nightmare here. I prefer the other location on PCH and 2nd.. I lve trader joes but seriously I cant deal with this location. the lines and the parking put me off from even going in. BTW I'm a fan of the coconut chips, freeze dried mango slices, and the baked potato chips (blue bag, not the orange bag). I can also get lost in the flower section.
