One day when my husband was checking out he asked one of the new cashiers if she would ring up a bag of Miracle Grow potting soil. She barked at him and said she didn't know how to spell Miracle. We don't shop there anymore and we are happily anticipating the opening of Tractor Supply In Williston. One would think with the future opening of Tractor Supply that Sparr would try harder to provide friendly customer service but this is not the case.

How cool is that? I cannot imagine another town smaller than Atlanta having such a wonderful resource. The resource is not just the variety of liquid seaweeds, and Mycorrhisals, and exotic sprayers available, it is the ready easy knowledge of the kids that work there. I have access to faculty in the Horticulture Department at UF, but they have better things to do than spend all day answering my questions, and they go into theoretical complexities that I do not need. The kids working this lovely hydroponic supply outlet do not have better things to do than spend all day answering my questions. And they are so well educated, knowledgeable, and experienced that they should be teaching and giving seminars. Yes, they are a little expensive relative to online, or even the big box stores like Lowes, but if you want this type of resource to continue in towns this size you will not just by your nutrient solutions there, you will buy your coco coir there as well. Come on people; don't go to Lowes just to save a few bucks on the common stuff, by helping this great business thrive you will help your plants thrive, and when your plants thrive, you thrive. Roses Express is very similar to Ollie's next door (literally next door) except that it has much less square feet of floor space, it offers a small refrigerated section w/ food (behind the checkout area) & it sells clothing (including a decent number of "full figure" sizes & offerings). It's a smaller store so the selection of closeouts & liquidation items are, of course, limited. For example, instead of a massive aisle of varied small appliances, you'll get 1/3 to select from. That's pretty much the same for everything here. No abundance of carpeting & flooring (I didn't see any flooring, but it's possible I missed it), no abundance of books, no abundance of furniture & tools, etc. However, like its competitor, this establishment does offer lots & lots of baby, toddler, & children's toys. (It also offers children's clothing in all sizes at very low prices.) It's the offering of clothing (which Ollie's doesn't carry) that separates the men from the boys, so to speak. I bought two women's v-neck long sleeved t-shirts for $3.99 each here when even Walmart would have priced them at $9.99 each-- that's a great savings. Overall, prices at Roses are much LOWER than they are at Ollie's & Big Lots. Parking is easy in the Northside Shopping Center lot that is shared w/ Ollie's & Harbor Freight, along w/ the former (& now vacant) Winn Dixie. I ordered in March because the stove comes from Italy and takes 3+ months to arrive. I received a call 9 weeks later stating that the order had never been placed and that they were placing it now. It was for a new construction home and I was on the contractor's predicted deadline. They offered a loaner basic stove for install so that I could close on my house. The stove arrived and was installed by my contractor while I was out of the country. I later received an additional invoice for a conversion kit because they got a natural gas unit instead of a propane unit that I ordered. I was not notified by Setzers nor asked about accepting a nautral gas stove and using an LP conversion. They charged me for the LP conversion. I spent over $10,000. And they wanted additional funds for an error that was not my fault. I asked for Setzers to write off the additional fees due to their company error. When I pointed out the multiple errors, Ray Swab further insulted me rather than providing appropriate customer service when I asked for the additional fee to be absorbed by Setzers since it was not my error (actually multiple errors). He implied it was my fault since the contractor was not quite ready for install upon its arrival and had to wait 2 weeks (I can only provide as accurate information on timelines as I'm given by the contractor.) Buyer beware. I felt like my experience was extremely disappointing and severely lacking in customer service. Take your hard earned money elsewhere as they've proven they don't value it here. I chose to order the rest of my appliances elsewhere after their poor handling of and lack of appreciation for my order, time, and money.

I was looking for a used desk and file cabinet. I called a few stores. Some had 800 #s and some you…read moreleft a voice mail. I never received a call back. I went to a few and some stores didn't have much of a selection and others didn't have anything that fit my size requirements (doorway width and I needed a long desk for workspace). A couple tried to steer me to new furniture actually inferring I couldn't afford a new desk. Being in sales myself, that was a tactic I'd never seen before. And then I found N & N had a FB ad. I messaged them on a Sunday (I was moving and needed it by Thursday). David responded in a few minutes. I told him what I was looking for and he sent me their flyer and their address. I went to the warehouse on Monday. The two ladies in the front (I didn't get their names) were very nice. David came out and walked me through the warehouse. He spent a lot of time with me. He knew what I needed and I found the perfect desk and cabinet. I couldn't believe how great prices! We then arranged delivery. Jorge and Mike showed up on Thursday and did an incredible job negotiating corners and a hallway. They even plugged in my power strip so I would be able to use the (I don't know what they are called) the holes on the top of the desk! They did it in no time and couldn't have been nicer and polite guys. I found out that N & N is a family run company, I think, for about 30 years! If you are looking for used or new (they also have a great selection of new office furniture) don't do anything until you see these folks.
