I had to cancel my appointment so, the following day I decided to show up as a walk-in. There are 3 tablets for signing in, but when I visited there was no one at the front desk to assist those who aren't tech savvy. Check in process took 15 seconds and my wait time was less than 10 minutes. There were maybe 7 people ahead of me for various things, and there's a monitor in the wait room so you can see how long your wait is. Patients with appointments have priority, but this did not make the wait time any longer. I came in with my notes from my doctor and the nurse was able to take the blood draw. In total, I was out in ~30 minutes as a walk in. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! You can create a profile on Quest to receive your results and have them shared with your healthcare provider. I went in on Monday, and received my results online on Wednesday. The results shared were pretty comprehensive and easy to understand-- coming from someone who has NO medical literacy. Not only can you be referred here by your medical professional you can also choose your own tests and screenings such as glucose, drug screening, etc. I definitely look forward to coming here again.

Recently, after starting a new medication, I became extremely ill while my prescribing physician was out of town, which led me to seek care at urgent care. As someone with complex and rare conditions, I often approach new providers with hesitation. Too often, my symptoms have been dismissed or misunderstood, which makes seeking care stressful and, at times, discouraging. Dr. Mary completely changed that experience. He took the time to truly listen, reviewed my medical history and prior notes thoroughly, and respected my insight into my own condition. He was knowledgeable about my diagnoses, ordered the labs I requested to rule out other possible causes, and provided additional resources for follow-up care. Most importantly, he treated me with empathy and clinical judgment, including administering a steroid injection to help manage what appears to be another flare. What stood out even more was his level of commitment - he asked me to update him the following day, despite not being on shift. That level of dedication is rare. It was also clear that my experience was not unique. Both when I arrived and when I left, I overheard other patients at the front desk expressing how much Dr. Mary had helped them. This is the standard of care every patient deserves. I am incredibly grateful and relieved to know there is a physician like Dr. Mary I can trust to listen, take my concerns seriously, and provide thoughtful, patient-centered care. I had an appointment, and I waited another 30 minutes, but I don't mind. I think people who don't work in healthcare may have a misperception that people aren't working fast enough, but what I think the public should know is that when you are sick - truly sick - you need the kind of research and care I received in order to provide the appropriate treatment. Urgent Care is not your primary care provider, so they need more time to review notes and records. Be patient. I have seen just about every specialist possible, and I received better care at this urgent care than 80% of other doctors I've seen, many of which kept me waiting far beyond 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment. This kind of care was exceptional, and I would wait again any day to talk to a doctor that listens and cares. There were majority elderly patients in the waiting room who were not comfortable using the check-in kiosk. My mother and another person stepped in to help them. I'm sure there are camera's in the back to view the waiting room, however no one ever came out to assist. It was not a bright idea to have a kiosk as the only means of checking in. Once they started calling patients to the back, they spoke very low and were short, not courteous or patient whatsoever. It's nice to have a close location to my home but it's worth the drive to another location for better service.

Dr Erin Ernie has been my mother's primary care physician for several years and I have had nothing…read morebut good experiences with her. Her staff is always helpful and they promptly return calls when an immediate response is not possible. The facilities at Jencare are clean and accommodating and they have a nice beverage station in the lobby. Jencare is great, but our reason for coming here is Dr Ernie. She is kind, compassionate, and takes as much time as we need to discuss treatments, both in her office or by phone. My mother was diagnosed with advanced bladder cancer in October, and Dr Ernie has been wonderfully supportive. Whether it be passing me a tissue discreetly, while giving a less than hopeful diagnosis, or making herself available to us at any hour via a call or text to her cellphone, she is a saint. I wish she could be my doctor too! I will always remember her remarkable level of care for the senior community.
