The pool itself is very nice but not exactly what I was expecting. They have only three lanes marked for "sports swimmers", ie people who want to swim laps. Actually three lanes is supposedly a lot for Germany although it's pretty surprising to an American swimmer. Thus, it gets a bit crowded in the lanes during the summer, around noon and after work. Early mornings and 1pm are good times to go to get the pool more to yourself. They also do not have flags for backstrokers and their lane lines aren't colored so as to indicate where the wall is.
