He's quickly available by phone and email, and it's not hard to schedule a meeting if needed. I don't know how I could have gotten through this process without him.

As a result of Covid-19 I was laid off and quarantined, along with my entire family (7 kids…read moreincluding two teen drivers). So I reached out to my agent (CFG) and explained that I had four cars sitting in my driveway only rarely being used to pick up groceries a mile away, and that I was unemployed, and asked if there was anything that we could do to lower my cost. They basically said there was nothing except to change my car to pleasure instead of business which saved a few bucks. After a few weeks, I felt there had to be more we could do so I tried again, with the only response being that there was nothing we can do. So I called the insurance company and they said you have to call the agent. I said I don't particularly think my agent cares. They said, "you can pick a different agent you know". So I went to their website and looked up another agent, just down the street. This guy worked his tail off to get me better, cheaper insurance, and mostly with the same insurance carrier. He also noticed that one of the drivers in my house was not on the policy. So we had 4 cars on the policy and only 3 drivers, despite the fact that I provided them with my daughter's information when she got her license. In fact they knew about her when she got her registration. In the end we got everybody insured plus lowered our cost almost $1400 and added collision to my daughters car which it didn't have before. Collegeville Financial's response was that they are not bill collectors. They were willing however to find new insurance for us and to charge us double what our normal policy was. Additionally, they told us we would be unable to find new insurance due to the lapse in policy coverage, so we should take the coverage bc we essentially were driving illegally at that point. When I spoke to the agent directly and expressed my concern for his company's handling of our policy, he told me he would sue us for defamation of character if we were to bad mouth them. Great way to run a business. Bottom line is that if you are looking for a company to have your best interest in mind, this is not the place. As far as I am concerned, we are much better off, we saved over $1,000/yr by going with another agent. One that I feel will have our best interests in mind in the case that we ever god forbid have a claim.
