Amazing second hand clothe store concept !…read more In the middle of the hip neighborhood in Brussels you will find melting pot. You buy clothes per kilo. How cool is that :) The clothes are really nice and cool. They really pay attention to there selection. You have enough scales in the store to wait and see for how much you are buying. The store by himself is very well decorated. Vintage, hip, cool, etc.... Staff is hipsterisch en friendly. One dissapointment, you can not buy the furniture :) Great place and great stuff !

Nice second hand vintage store !…read more It is a luxury vintage store with furniture. Really elegant furniture: If I was rich I would buy everything here. You feel at home here in the store and the owner is really easy going. We were there at 11 o'clock in the morning and we asked if we could order something (there is a bar in the store) and the guy said the bar is not open until 12... a bit stupid of him because we would have consumed. A place to recommend if you like old vintage (style art deco) furniture. They also have some clothes.

I lost my wallet and had a limited amount of money. He started to complain and tell me that he works hard and therefore his items are expensive. I respect his work and items he sell but it's not my problem the city charges him to rent the space and etc. I was the ONLY customer in the store and he made it seem like he was bothered and I was in his way. He was not customer friendly, I told him about it, and left to another shop and found a nice 20s inspired dress and accessories. Out of all the places I passed to get to this place, I regret stepping in the store because the owner was not welcoming at all. You can sell great products but also have to be tactful when dealing with people from different walks of life. When you are nice, you will generate more business. When you are snooty and crude, you NOT make the money you would like.

If you are a real thrift store lover you will be put off not only by the price tags but the hipsters shopping there. As you can see in the pictures I posted, there is quite a selection of old used items, ranging from old converse and Adidas, to camo gear, to sequined tops and fur vests. This place really has it all except for anything past the year 2000. If you want true vintage there are many nicer other stores here selling high end goods cheaper then episode and also other real thrift stores selling used clothes for reasonable prices, some as low as 1euro. I just wouldn't personally waste my money here.

I've shopped at designer thrift shops with more reasonable prices. I hope they start to curate their stuff better and/or at least charge more reasonable prices.
