My buddy Stash is the store manager and a funny, good energy and real golf salesman - he knows the old and new and as we talked shafts and my swing, I could feel he wanted the best for my game. I told him I used to be. 6hcp, I told him about walking away from the game for 6 years, I told him I'm giving it another run, to get back to being a good player and his advice was great. Woods were made of real wood, persimmon if you wanted to go expensive - and the term "hitting it on the screws" was because the screws held the faceplate in place. The balls were wound with a nylonish string material into a ball encapsulated in a single cover that you could put a crack in that looked like a smile when you hit it hard and incorrectly - AKA Skulling It. This shop has all that around back the small ship for $10.00 a pop, I had a fun time with them, a walk down the fairways of memories - when life was easy and clubs were unforgiving - like pulling a screaming tee shot two fairways left, gosh I miss those days with my Wilson Ultra Tour driver (w/ Firestick shaft). Joe will rent you clubs for the day, weekend or the week at a very good price - he's got all the current golf equipment for the high, mid and low handicapper.. Definitely a great little shop to check out if your anywhere in the area. Proprietor Joe has all sorts of good stuff and incredibly low prices. Huge tour bags loaded with putters and wedges

Private club and ratws 10/10 course, three 18 holes and all perfect, all drinking water and unlimited cups, amazing greens, super friendly staff and beautiful 2 driving ranges at the main course with free unlimited new Titleist golf balls, amazing club house, amazing food for less money if you can get in. Lely was $165. After 11 am. on golf now and free range balls, free water bottles and amazing condition at Mustang. Note- I will advise tomorrow on Stoney Brook...better be amazing at this price. Lots of great public courses (Arrowhead $150.; Spanish Wells $140.; Valencia $130.; Lely $165; panther Run $130....just saying)
