Don't forget to read the fine print. Almost 400 dollar "restocking fee for a transmission they said that was out of the vehicle. Manager failed to mention their full return policy of course. Said 14 day returns, but he meant 14 day return with a 25% restocking fee. He said "bro well give your money back if it doesn't work out." Never mentioned the fee and only found out when I called to return it. Turns out it was on the back of one of the papers he handed me. It said customer signature on it, I never signed and was never informed of the policy. o well I guess. S h a d y business. Never again. Learn from my mistake. Their bald parts loader seemed more upset I was bringing back their transmission than the manager. Dude try to tell me to move my truck after the manager just told me to move my truck to a certain spot. The manager told him, "just pick it up... " When the manager walked away he rolled the transmission half way off my truck bed while unloading it and looked at me like it was my fault. I just rolled my eyes, and caught it then slid it back on the truck... I can only imagine the things they've done to other customers. And what would have happened if I couldn't catch the transmission when the Tough guy transmission mover rolled it? It would have smashed my leg or foot and the trans would probably be damaged. They probably would have tried to charge me full price and would have said it's my fault. If you want to deal with this type of business have at it. read more

I was going to buy a transmission from these guys, Serg told me they require a $200 deposit over the phone to hold the transmission for one day for me...45 min after I paid over the phone my card was charged $50 at wing stop that was walking distance from them. Later that night a $9.99 charge to a dirty website...awesome. When I called Serg to ask about it he was a total jerk, yelled and cussed on the phone in defense. I was looking for an 08 - LS460 low miles engine for months and finally found one here at a great price. They provided me with the vin for the engine so I can research it before I purchased it. The transaction was very easy and shipping was fast. When we received the the engine at my mechanics shop in Torrance, CA they began to work on the engine swap and we notice what seemed to be something wrong (water in some parts) and we immediately called ToyAuto mart. They said they can send a different one but guaranteed that the one we already had was a good working engine. They explained what we needed to do as it could be water from when it was cleaned. They guaranteed it would be a great working engine and after we installed it, it was. The engine is great and has absolutely no issues. I was happy to receive a follow up call from them to confirm we finished the install and that we were satisfied. We are more than satisfied and happy that they sell great products and offer great customer service. When they called to follow up I asked about other parts for vehicle and they had them at a very reasonable price. I've been going to this place for over 20 years, and have never had a bad experience. Including the most recent one: My window on old Highlander would not work properly. Tried new switch, did not help. Tried replacing the motor, did not help. Tried replacing the glass (got from here for $40), did not help. Replaced the regulator/motor assembly with new aftermarket, that fixed it. Exactly 2 weeks after buying the glass, I went in to return it, expecting them to, at best, charge a re-stocking fee as was stated on the receipt, or, at worst, not allowing the return. They gave me full refund (not store credit). This is a good, honest business. I will keep coming back. read more

I really have to hand it to Serge, Eric, and everyone working at this company. They have exceptionally good manners and are very congenial to talk to on the phone. They are a very busy little company who have lots of orders coming in for all kinds of used Toyota parts. I had to order some sun visors for my car because the driver's side one had become floppy and was in my face while driving. I got replacements for both front visors. The driver's side one I received had seen some wear on one of the main parts, and so they sent me another, gratis. It also had a lot of wear, so Serge did me a solid and only charged me for the passenger side one. We agreed that we will just keep our eyes peeled for another driver's side visor when one comes in that's appropriate for my vehicle. I drive a very old Toyota whose parts are harder to come by, so I know that finding parts can sometimes be like looking for a kidney donor -you just have to wait for the right match in parts. I am just super happy that they do carry parts for my make and model of car! For Serge to go out of his way to see to it that I was a happy and satisfied customer meant a lot to me and it says a lot about their modus operandi. - They really do deliver the best customer service, and they are exceptional at packaging up parts for shipments. I have to give them an A+ as well for that ... the shipping and packaging. The parts came expeditiously and were very neatly wrapped. All in all, I give this company 5 stars.
