We have used the services of Toy Doctor twice over the past 2 years and have been very pleased both times. We had an awning replaced, the generator serviced and some roof leaks repaired by Dalton and we were very satisfied with his work. He is honest, reliable and professional. Cannot in good conscience recommend this business. Tried to get them to do a maintenance job on my coach and they agreed to do the job and gave me a date for the service, it was five weeks out before they could get to it and when the date approached did not hear from them and when I called they denied that they ever made the service appointment was VERY rude on the phone and then told me that they had no idea when they could get to my job. Also that it was a long way from their shop (roughly 10 miles.) I was then basically blown off. Hung up and decided to look else where for service that would actually want to do some work. Can't say much else but rude poor customer service horrible communication between vendor and customer. Will not be calling them again for anything ! read more

They replaced two RV valves and cables from r black tanks. First time out neither one worked and one leaked as soon as there was liquid in the tank. Called and left a message and got crickets. Never again. 400.00 is a bunch of money for nothing.. read more

Toy Doctor started the service and repairs to our 2008 Tiffin Allegro Bus Aqua Hot system on the first week of January 2023, with multiple trips over the span of this last year. The Toy Doctor failed to get our Aqua Hot in operation, and they also failed to keep us up to date on any kind of accurate time frame to expect them to complete this job. After a year of no results from the Top Doctor, I contacted another company (Over the Road RV Repairs) and in less than four days they had a tech at my RV, as they informed me they would, and in less than a hour and half the tech had my Aqua Hot up and running HOT Water. July 1st, 2023, I also called The Toy Doctor to request they work on our broken toilet. After awaiting months and being told that the parts are on the slow boat from China. Then, after the needed part came in and Toy Doctor showed up, the toilet was still not repaired because he said it now needs a new ball valve and seal. Now we have awaited an additional two more months and no calls to keep us updated, Toy Doctor shows up with the new ball valve, but while installing it he breaks the new first part we waited the first months for. Now we end up at the six months point and each time I call to find out a possible date when he might complete our broken toilet, was given two different dates at two different times and both times came with no phone calls and of course he never showed up either. I contacted another contractor, and within a week, we have a working toilet again, NO THANKS to Toy Doctor. One good point I must make here, I never give The Toy Doctor a penny, and they didn't take me for anything but a waste of my time. read more

It's a sign - look at her response to the above review - demonstrates the companies attitude to unhappy clients - there is no concern - other than AN ATTACK on a person who is sharing his feelings - my advice would be to ask the client why he is unhappy - instead of accusing him of lying - why would anyone want to LIE ABOUT A REVIEW !!! read more

Super disappointed in this company. Father, Mother and Daughter... Owners set the tone for companies, and the daughter who I dealt with mostly, is rude and aggressive, when I asked if she owned the company, she said no, my parents do. I responded that I didn't need to talk to her parents, as I assumed they she was a mirror of them. just then the mother got on the phone, and it was a repeat of the conversation I had with the daughter. They serviced my Onan genset, replaced the fuel filter, it leaked all over the decorative concrete, had to call multiple times to get them to come back, then when they did, they left the cover plate laying on the ground, no advise given on what next step was, so when I called they said, part if back ordered with no date for arrival... parts are on the ground... and I was unable to penetrate through the mothers sarcasm to determine next step. They claim the filter is leaking because it is defective.... We all know that it was installed and not set properly. I will repair myself... What a low class operation this is. So I see these negative reviews and my first thought is: Are they talking about the same place I take my RV? I have only used Toy Doctor twice. Based on recommendations of local people here in Dade City. Once for an oil change and once for an electrical issue. They pass oil changes on to Dan the Oil Man, who did a quick and efficient job. My electrical issue was handled the same way. Not sure who is who with regard to names, but I spoke with the older gentleman and he referred me to his younger helper (son). The young gent, and his helper figured out my issue and fixed it in minutes. I am calling them right now to look at another issue for me. I would have given them a 5 Star Rating, but only gave them 4 simply because getting an appointment can be difficult. But I have found service to be excellent. read more

I contacted the Toy Doctor on 11-28 ( two weeks ago), and through a series of back and forth phone calls the owner quoted me an installed price for a used 18' power awning, and a NEW a/c for my cargo trailer. I have been trying to get on their schedule for the past week to have the installation performed. I even spoke with them this week, to be told that they were backed up due to the recent cold snap & that they had a backup of furnace repairs. I finally received a return call this morning with the details.... They SOLD the awning last weekend & NOW the a/c turns out to be a used unit pulled off another RV. All of this when The owner and I agreed on an installed price. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS UNSAVORY COMPANY!!!!!!!!!! read more

I have had two great experiences with the toy doctor. They are knowledgeable, efficient, prompt and reasonable with regards to cost. I recently needed two slide out toppers replaced. They were busy but said they would call if they could work me in because of a cancellation. I got a call a few days later and they were on site within a week. Will use them again. read more

We were very satisfied with the service we received from toy doctor. One guy came out initially didn't really fix the problem but Dalton and his crew came out when we got back in town and spent several hours with two or three guys going over our fifth wheel to make sure they were able to find and fix the problem without additional charge! We we did have to call a couple of times and leave messages before we got an answer back but once they were here, they knew their stuff and they were professional and polite, and I would certainly recommend them. Be prepared for it to take a little while during snowbird season, but they will get to you and they will do a great job! Thanks to Dalton and his crew! read more

I was treated really badly by Dalton who runs the shop and he lied to cause friction witb another business and falsely stated that the other company only painted my roof of my RV and then changed it to sealant after confronted by the other company. He even had the audacity to say that I was wasting his time even though I paid him. Stay far away from this company as they cannot be trusted to tell the truth and their customer service is not good by a long shot. read more

I would give no stars if i could. Called two weeks ago to try and schedule an appointment to have toy doctor come out for an issue with my fifth wheel. The lady taking calls took my name and number and said they would be in touch in a few days to make an appointment. Two weeks later still nothing... *UPDATE* Toy Doctor saw my review and suddenly i got a reply back with excuses that they are busy. I have no doubt they are busy. Its my opinion its poor customer service to not manage new customers a little better. It gives the impression you dont want that particular job or are busy enough you dont need or want more work. Both are perfectly fine as long as its communicated. To leave a customer hanging with no word or explanation as to the delay when that person has an issue that needs fixed is poor customer service. read more

I recently called for service and reached a woman that was not helpful or respectful and insulting! I tried to book a time to have Toy Doctor come out and fix my RV. The lady that answers the phone for this company to make appointments is very obnoxious and nasty. She calls you rude and pompous on the phone when you are only trying to make an appointment to give them business. I do not recommend this place whatsoever, especially if their main contact is as unprofessional and surly as their phone person is. I would give this a -5 stars, as I don't even know what kind of work they do, but I would never, ever patronize and establishment like this due to their poor public relations. read more

Really good installers but extremely poor in customer relations. Extremely poor in dealing with an insurance claim. Made untrue statements about replacement parts needed for awning repairs and ordered parts without approval. Their office personnel, in all probability the owners, are abusive and extremely unwilling to be flexible in listening to customer. Buyer beware! read more
