I went to Towne Florist to order a bouquet of flowers for my MILs birthday. I was told they don't participate in " telefora" I ended up going home and doing a search for a florist shop where my MIL lives. The delivery driver from Towne Florist went over and beyond to make sure the flowers my grown out of state children sent were delivered personally and not left out in the freezing temperature. He made two trips in one of if not the busiest days, Valentine's Day. He did so with a wonderful smile. I had no idea until speaking to my daughter after he left that this was his second attempt. DO NOT ORDER FROM TOWNE Florist! Horrible customer service and value. This is my first negative review I have ever written. As a Realtor I send anywhere from 8-15 arrangements a month. I'm very familiar with flower pricing and what quality is to be expected at a $100 price point. I sent my grandmother an arrangement that totaled $113 with delivery and taxes. The owner let me know that there Telefloral recipe for the arrangement I choose was 5 roses, 6 carnations and 1 hydrangea. I called to politely discuss why a $100 arrangement would have such little flowers when on the website it looked more grand and never said the amount of flowers used. I naturally expected at that price point to be sending a gift I could be proud of. She explained that the vase was $38 and roses are $5 a stem. I explained to the owner that there's no way I would have paid $100 for that little bit of flowers. I will attach a picture of the stunning centerpiece from a DC florist with orchids, glass votives and white roses that I paid the exact same amount for. I'm a very reasonable person and I wanted to give the owner the opportunity to take responsibility for the misleading information on her website and make things right. However, she said that she doesn't have anymore flowers at this point and it's Telefloral's fault because she followed there exact recipe. I would never recommend Towne Florist, basic at best work that you will be charged a premium for. read more

Buyer beware!!! I try to buy local to help my community. I will not be shopping with Towne florist again. You don't get what you pay for . I ordered the lavish love bouquet which appears to have a dozen long stem roses and lilies. She received a vase with 5 roses and 4 lilies. They didn't even last two weeks. That's pretty bad considering it cost $130.00 . read more

I ordered flowers and had them delivered for someone's birthday. Apparently the recipient was not home, the driver attempted a second delivery an hour later. The driver called me and was very rude. His tone was accusatory, and annoyed that the recipient was not there. I apologized for inconveniencing him, but it is his job to deliver the flowers. When I called the florist to explain my frustration she indicated that it was a misunderstanding and he was concerned about the recipients welfare. If they were truly concerned about someone's health, they could have called he police for a welfare check, like I suggested. The delivery driver never once expressed concern about her health and safety and instead they used this excuse as a cover for their poor customer service. I have ordered from here for birthdays, celebrations, and Mother's Day. Unfortunately one bad experience with a delivery driver can leave a bad taste in your mouth. I would go elsewhere for better customer service. The florist was actually very nice. It's disappointing that her driver was so rude. Update: the flowers were really beautiful, however, I will probably never order from here again. read more

This little shop in the heart of leonardtown trumps the competition with its stellar service and amazing flowers. I went in the day before valentines day on a strict budget. The associate was extremely friendly and helped me decide on the perfect arrangement that worked with what I could spend. When an unexpected circumstance caused me to have to cancel delivery and change my order to pickup on valentines day, the staff refunded my delivery charge despite being very busy. If you need flowers, this is the place to go. read more

After reading some of the negative reviews I was skeptical about using this florist. Last week, December 18, 2019, I decided to give them a chance and then form my own opinion. I have to tell you not only were my flowers delivered to the funeral home on time, but far exceeded my expectations. Every one raved on them!
