The Christmas lighting at the Winterstown Green was amazing. So many lights and so many happy people around. This is my favorite time of year. It seems to bring people together and just makes everyone so joyful and friendly for the most part, Windsor community is amazing and so united, but for events such as this one, it truly shows how united we are as a town. It looked like Disneyland last night and I truly enjoyed every minute of it getting to the event is super easy. You park at the high school and they shuttle you over to the town green and then at the end of the night you get back on the shuttle and they drop you off at the parking lot and you head home. So easy and not stressful at all and you don't have to deal with parking that way I love seeing all the different decorated trees by different businesses. I love Christmas time in Windsor. read more

The Town of Windsor is a charming town in wine country. The Town Green is the downtown area and it is filled with shops, restaurants, and wine tasting rooms. Windsor has lots of wineries as well as breweries. You can easily Uber to the Beverage District or Grand Cru Crush as well. It's more affordable than neighboring Healdsburg, which draws both locals and out of town guests. There are lots of events that happen in Windsor throughout the year. There is also lots of nature as well and plenty of parks for nature lovers. During the holiday season, you will find that the downtown comes to life and is very festive. However, this is an amazing town to visit all year round. read more
