Bought tires online here and asked them to price match Tire Rack which was like $4.00 less per tire. They did better and priced 5% below Tire Rack. They also offered a 4-wheel alignment at a discounted priced of $59 (usually it's over $100 anywhere). Scheduled my install online without an issue and they got me right in at the scheduled time. Took about 90 minutes for them to change the tires, balance, and do an alignment. I want to mention is the BEST alignment I've gotten in the area on my BMW X3. Two other places, Noyes and Vermont Tire... have not done accurate alignments on this same vehicle in the past and I had to go back multiple times to get it right. I called Town Fair Tire to compare prices for our 3 company vans and spoke to the call center. I was quoted very good prices and made appointments for early November. When I arrived with the first van, I was told the call center mis-informed me, they had quoted passenger tire prices, not large van tires, and they would cost another $40 each. As it was just 2, I told them to go ahead and we would pay difference. It was supposed to be ready Wednesday and when I called that morning I was told it would be ready that afternoon and he would call me to confirm. No call. I called Thursday and was told yes its ready, and the price. Instead of $375 including the upgraded van tires, it was $514!!! Beware: They advertise free mounting, but not balancing, which cost $75. They take out your old valve stems (we only had 2 to be swapped) and apparently install new ones every changeover, This added another $50. First experience with Town Fair and the Last! read more

Maybe you will, eventually, after you get transferred 27 times and wait on hold for 20 minutes. Ridiculous system. Why can't I just buy tires on the website? I made an appointment and I ordered tires to have ready. I resheduled my appointment for the tires I ordered and when I got here they didn't have the tires that they gave them to someone else. I had been waiting for 2 hours and wanted to know when I was gonna be on my way they said 20-25 min. 40 min later I ask again they said oh about another 20-25 min. I have very little free time, I juggle my entire existence, so when I make appointment for 11am and have called ahead, show up early, I don't expect 2 tires to take 3 and a half hrs taking up my entire day and front counter staff giving me major attitude when I ask why I'm still here when I made an appt to avoid this very thing. I ran up against picking up my son from school, and they are complaining they don't have enough techs today. That's not my fault. My entire rare few hours were used up and I had to explain to my son's school why I wasn't there to get him. If you make appointment and nobody thinks to tell you they are running behind or short staffed until 2 plus hours into a wasted day then that's a problem. I understand most places are short staffed but this today was the worst experience I've had anywhere with any service. I've bought many sets of tires from this business, I made appointment was either out in under an hour or warned it might be a bit of a wait. I was given no such courtesy today. It took nearly 3 and a half hours to put 2 tires on my car and it cost me many other things I had to do that were vital. I'm not sure after the attitude I got if I'll go back there again. They are a scam shop. I sent my wife in to get our free winter tire change over. They tried to sell her new tires, saying that the tire she had (with only 10K miles) were worn and should be replaced. Then they tried to charge her over $150 for alignment and balance for a free change over. When she declined the alignment the clerk started yelling at her and told her the tires would fall off if she didn't have the up charged service performed. We will never go back and we will definitely tell everyone of our experience with Town Fair Tire every chance we get. read more

I had called To schedule an appointment the second week of October and was told they only had 2 open slots in 2 weeks from the day I called. I made the oppointment and asked if I could wait and was told I would have to drop off my vehicle at my appointed time or the night before and leave keys in the drop box. So that is what I did so my car would be there first thing in the morning. I did not hear anything form Town Fair Tire so at 3 pm I called them to see if my car was ready. I spoke with a young man who took a few minutes to check on my vehicle and told me it just went in but could not give me an estimate of how long before it would be ready to pick up. I figured if it just went in to the bay it would take about an hour so I gave them an hour and a half before I went there to pick up my vehicle. At 4:30 pm I went to Town Fair Tire to pick up my car and it was still sitting in the same spot that I parked it in the night before and the summer tires where still on it. When I went in to speak with someone about my change over I waited in line for 20 minutes until I could speak with the guy behind the desk. I asked why my car wasn't done yet when I was told at 3 pm it was in being worked on. He had no answer and while looking for my paperwork to see when it would be done he grabbed another customer's paperwork and began to cash them out. I thought that was rude to not finish with me the person in front of him before cashing another person out. He finally found my paperwork and told me my car was the next one to go in and would be done in an hour. I gave him my cell and told him to call when it was done then went to the parking lot and watched 2 other vehicles go into the bay before I left . I was called at 6:30 pm that I could pick up my car. When I went to pay I asked the guy behind the counter why it takes all day for a 4 tire change over if you are a tire store. He told me being a drop off is the same as a walk in and they will get to it when they can. I reminded the guy that I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance and should have been worked into the schedule. Then he told me I waited until the last minute. I told the guy if brought my car in August I would still wait all day for my change over. When we had our spring change over I waited 3 hours before my car went in to the bay and I had an appointment. We purchased our winter tires at Town Fair Tire and have been getting them changed over ever since, but there service is extremely slow and there customer service sucks. It seems to me if you specialize in tires and all things tires you would have a better handle on your scheduling and be better prepared for your busy times. Yes they do change overs for less, but maybe there crappy service is why. I did wait a week to cool down before writing this review. I have spent my entire working career in the restaurant business and I know everyone can have a bad day every once in a while, but at Town Fair Tire it doesn't seem to ever get better. The worst service ever. Scheduled an appointment 2 weeks ago but when I got here this morning for 10 they told me that they did not have my tires. I purchased a different set of tires. When I came back 2 hours later to pick up my truck they had not even installed the tires yet. When they started to install the tires one of the technicians broke off one of these studs that the lug nuts go on to. The truck has only 37,000 miles on it I doubt that the stud was rusted in place. They do not sell parts now I have to make an appointment with another mechanic to have the wheel taken off and have the stud replaced. At my cost! read more

On 5/24/18 I agreed to a tire swap and an up sell on the alignment contingent on the tech agreeing to share photos of my brake pads while tires were off and they agreed. No photos were provided and when I asked they said the tech was out on break without apology. Fine. Then I got home and saw that the position of the tire mounted on the wheel essentially required that the hub cap pinch the tire valve stem. Not fine. I was happy with the price I got on the tires through their regional call center - I was very unhappy with the service at the local Williston dealer - I was given an appt for 10 and did not leave until 12:15 - I asked if there was any issue or problem because the new car is very technical - and I have the manual if they need it - they said no they were all set - no issues - later in the day my car gave me tire pressure warnings and said to not drive the car - I called TFT and they were closed - they were closed the next day Sunday - I checked the pressure and it was 30 on all tires - on Monday I brought the car to my dealer who said the tires were supposed to be filled to 41 and it was clearly marked on car - TFT refused to give me a small refund for my trouble of not being able to drive my car for most of the weekend - I will never purchase tires from them again - no matter the price read more

Worst buying experience I've ever had! Had to order tires because they didn't have winter tires to fit my car. They scheduled the appointment 3 weeks out (at very end of November). Got there at scheduled time and they couldn't find the tires. Waited 45 minutes while the clerk looked for them and never found them. Said he couldn't find an alternative tire in same size. He went out to check tire size and said they'd ordered the wrong size to begin with! Finally found some tires they'd ordered for someone else and said they'd put them on my car, but they'd cost $250 more than I was quoted. The salesman was a really nasty-dispositioned guy who was rude to his co-workers in addition to me! I was desperate because of forecast snow and purchased the tires. He said it would be 2 hours wait time. Four (4) hours later they were done. He neglected to give me a tire re-call registration form and I had to ask for it. Right now I'm trying to fill the form out and it asks for tire ID numbers (and I don't know where/how to find this). Called their number on my invoice and after waiting while the phone rang for 10 minutes a bored, lifeless voice told me that I'd have to call them in Williston to get the information. She gave me another number. I called, waited while the phone rang. After a few minutes of waiting a recording automatically came over the line saying I was transferred to voicemail and to leave a message. Then, right off, another recording came on saying the mailbox was full and no message could be left! He recommended a little bit of a nicer tire (that was $50 more per tire) but he split the difference due to the inconvenience. He was also extremely polite and efficient. They have a very poor system. The first time I came here with an appointment and it took 3 hours while I waited. The second time I dropped off at 9 am and my car still wasn't done when they closed at 6 pm. Also, the waiting area is in the tire warehouse and the fumes have given me a headache both times I've been here. Never again. Have to the be the worst customer service! I am from Canada and travelled to the area tire blew hitting a pot hole, Brought it there first thing on Saturday and they actually took me right away. That was really the only good thing. I left the car there as they were very busy, two hours later they called and said "your car is ready and you can picked up anytime beofre 4:00pm" I get there at three and my advisor Aaron tells me the tire is unrepairable!?!!? And they do not have any in stock and I have to wait till Monday. Most to all tire places on a Saturday close at noon! I was so upset as i needed to get home on Sunday and all Aaron could say sorry we are busy on Saturday's. Called to check on getting tires changed over while I was in town. Was told that they are not taking appointments or walk-ins until further notice?!?!? I see multiple reviews since November saying similar- with reply's from customer service stating they would correct the issue. Even saying that employees have already been told "no walk ins" is against policy. Sounds like the local management (Williston) has no respect for customers, corporate management or company policy. You may beat others on price...but that is costing the consumer here. I was very skeptical of this big chain when they arrived in Williston. I gave them a try because their prices were so low compared with other tire stores and they offered free tire changes. We have been coming back each season or whenever we need to buy tires because we have been very satisfied. The employees at the front desk are really helpful and this Town Fair Tire has kept those same employees since they opened. Original benefits were - close to my office, pricing available online, setting appt time, all in one transaction. Arrived on time, tires not in stock. Great Customer Service, but you are going to wait. Clint and Aaron were wonderful from the moment I walked in the store. I had an appointment and my car was brought in around 15 min after arrival. I waited around an hour to an hour and half for the 4 tire change over to happen. It is the peak of the tire change over season so a wait is to be expected. They were open and honest that it would take some time and were accommodating when I asked for an update. The tires are great and the people at the front desk are even better. Stay away from this place. We unwittingly bought both all season and winter tires, as well as new rims for my husband's Yukon Denali. Initially, we were pleased with the service we received and the fact that since we bought the tires there, change overs as well as tire rotations were free. There service is horrible. When my husband brought the vehicle in to have the winter tires put on, he had one tire that had a slow leak. They said they fixed it, but they didn't. Also, they never reset the electronics, so the service light was on in the car, and the tires were not retorqued. Also a lug nut was missing. The mechanics said they couldn't do anything about it, so my husband talked to the manager, who was just hired. He put a lug nut on. That's it. One tire is overinflated, which was ignored. This is a safety issue. These people should either get competent help, or close its doors. read more

More like 0 stars! The worst service experience I have ever had. Dropped the car off an hour early for a 12 PM appointment to install 4 new tires. When I returned at the pre-agreed time, 5 PM, they had not yet started. They tried to push an alignment on me. After I declined, they said they'd do it for no charge but the receipt included a $55 charge for factory alignment. Things got much worse from there... When I was finally able to pick up my vehicle, the sales rep handed me back two of my lug nuts and told me they were too badly damaged to put back on so I should go buy replacements but I would be fine with 4 out of 5 lug nuts on my rear wheels. When I inspected the remaining lug nuts, they were ALL damaged. Driving down the road as I left the place, I noticed a vibration in the vehicle that had not existed prior to this service. I can't say if this is due to the wheel balance, alignment or the missing and improperly installed lug nuts. read more

I rarely take the time to write reviews for such things, but I had an absolutely phenomenal experience at Town Fair. The people were extraordinarily friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. I thought I might need four tires, but they took a look and told me that actually two of my tires didn't need to be replaced (even though they knew that they could have swindled me and replaced them). They fixed a leak in one of them for free. They took the time to explain everything to me in detail. And it's worth saying once again how friendly and thoughtful everyone there was, especially Aaron. I can't remember a time when I've experienced better customer service. The one piece of advice I would give is that you should (A) make an appointment beforehand and (B) be ready to wait up to 90min for the work to get done. read more

There is something wrong with the customer service here. I usually go to Tire Warehouse for my winter tire changeover, but I decided to give Town Fair Tire a try because it is a nice, new facility. Tire Warehouse is fast, but it is filthy inside, which is a big turnoff. I called to make an appointment, but was only asked my name and if my tires had been run last year. I was told to drop off no later than 9am and to be prepared to leave my vehicle for the day. When I came in to drop off, there was a long line ahead of me. While I was waiting, only two people where helped in front of me, each taking 20 minutes. At that rate, I was going to be there several hours, just to drop off! I don't understand why more of my information wasn't taken over the phone so the drop off procedure was more seamless. I gave up after waiting 40 minutes and drove to Tire Warehouse where I quickly dropped off my vehicle and picked up a few hours later. read more

Once I arrive, nobody seems to have it written down. I have been told there will be an opening in 2 weeks. Not helpful with snowstorm coming. No one can do anything today for you. The store is a customer service nightmare. My husband and I both had appointments to have our winter tires put on. I've wasted more time standing in line (an hour each day) to perform a simple transaction (drop off or pick up). BEWARE! A bigger chain is not the answer....I am running back to my local garage. I've called headquarters twice this week to complain. They are "aware of the issues in Williston" but once again this morning when I went to pick up the car, the line was out the door.
