In many ways it is like the Twelve Apostles, though these stacks tend to be somewhat larger meaning that they are probably classified more as islands (though I am sure you could consider the stacks at the Twelve Apostles islands as well). I actually prefer this place much more than the Twelve Apostles in that there aren't as many tourists crowding around here, and the place is much more serene. In fact you won't find any of those touristy things such as kiosks and helecoptors, just a large empty beach and some huge rugged islands just off shore. The place is also referred to as the Bay of Martyrs, which is think is a much cooler name, probably because the word martyr sounds better than islands. I guess it also gives us a better impression of just how rugged and dangerous this coastline was to the early sailors.
