The cakes are absolutely delicious and I truly enjoy them, which is why this experience was disappointing for me. I placed an online order, but when I arrived at the bakery I decided I wanted to exchange it for the Strawberry Cloud Cake instead. The total for that cake was higher, and I paid $67 for it, so I was willing to cover the difference without any issue. Unfortunately, I was told that an exchange could not be done because the original order was placed online. I explained to the two employees that the website instructed customers to contact the bakery immediately if there was an issue, which I did. The original cake had not been touched, and I felt that as such a well-loved and professional company, there should have been a way to accommodate a simple exchange request. The ambiance of the store was warm, welcoming, and busy, which I appreciated. However, I left feeling dissatisfied and disappointed with the customer service and how the situation was handled. I love the cakes here, but unfortunately I will not be returning to this location. In the future, I will contact someone beforehand to confirm any exchange options, especially knowing how quickly the cakes sell out. I always stop by Tous Les Jours to pick up a handful of delicious pastries whenever I go to the Hannam Chain Korean market, since they conveniently share a parking lot. Tous Les Jours is a fine example of everything I love about Korean bakeries in general... just the right amount of sweet, buttery, and milky combined with perfect texture and/or softness. They offer all the typical pastries that you would expect from a Korean bakery. I don't think I've ever been dissatisfied with anything I've ever gotten here. Also, whenever I'm responsible for buying a birthday cake, my default choice is always a Korean cream cake... I believe they call it the Cloud Cake at Tous Les Jours. Tous Les Jours are getting better and better every-time i visit. To be frank, used to not like it, the options were boring and typical. However, they're improving! Loved the earl grey cloud like chiffon cake, potato mochi balls, three honey filled pancakes with cheese and asian style apple pie (flakey, not too sweet) and yuzu pie. Very creative and yummy. Today I picked up a box for my clients and had fun choosing bread. Took a star off for the lack of service. They're not friendly nor helpful. In the last 10 days, I visited this location 3 times and the service was consistently lacking. Need to better train their staff. The location inside California market is a whole lot better in terms of service. I focused on the storefront, while looking for an open space to park; 'Tous Les Jours' (All Days) is what it said. After spending some time at Hannam's we made our way to 'Tous Les Jours'. After coming here for a dozen times, I think it merits a review from me. I have had only positive experiences from this location that is tucked away in a busy Koreatown mini mall plaza. Ambiance: Super cute and clean. Love the open layout of the store and how the interior design of the place matches their cute logo and packaging. It works like most bakeries where you have package goods on one side, a refrigerator full of cakes on the other side and in the middle, a pastry island where you grab a bamboo tray, a pair of metal tongs, and fill your tray of the many pastries they have. The yumminess: There is something that I love about Asian and French bake good mashups. You have the options of familiar Asian flavors but presented to you in a French manner. Their desserts are not overbearingly sweet or buttery, which I absolutely love! I am not sure if they baked their products off site but each time I come here, I have been happy with it. Some of my go-to favorites are: - The strawberry caramel gelato: Located near the coffee bar is a freezer where they store their parfaits, frozen yogurts and ice pops. The ice cream/gelato/frozen yogurt are in glass containers that you get to keep. - Apple crisp pastry: Crispy flaky pastry but buttery enough to keep it together. There are not sugar granules as in most apple crisp pastries but the filling makes it sweet enough. - Sweet potato pastry: with pumpernickel seeds sprinkled on top. The filling is perfectly sweet and just enough to not weigh the pastry down - Red Bean pastry: Much like the sweet potato pastry but with red bean. One of my favorite Asian regional tastes. - Iced coffee: Can't go wrong with their cold brew. Full flavored and not watered down. Simple syrup and creamer is available at the coffee bar. Even though this is so tiny but I can purchase breads of an old country 's memories. There's so many Korean pastries like pumpkin donuts, Korean croquets, bread crumbs breads, sweet potato breads, red been donuts, 8shape donuts and birthday cakes. ROWR! TOUS LES JOURS Located to the left of the Hannam Chain Supermarket, the parking itself is the first issue. When the market is packed (let's say on a weekend), good luck finding parking, even within the lot. I wasn't too fond of their location in Torrance, but decided to give this one a shot since it was convenient after grocery shopping. The venue is small, but rather clean and dignified. Organized and bright are 2 fair adjectives. Even heading into the evening on a Sunday night, the workers are still making sure that there's ample selection by putting out pastries into the baskets. On the side, I was going head to head with a stare challenge with these two Fruitcakes, not crazy people, but actual Fruit Cakes in the fridge. They looked good enough to devour. An employee did ask me if I needed anything, which was proper, and the lady at the register was polite. Resisting temptation, I just bought a few pastries instead and dashed out the door. All in all, a very decent experience, but average on all counts. Took the pastries home and they all tasted fine. I even woke up hungry in the middle of the night, wandered into the kitchen, and popped half a pastry while my eyes were still closed. DELISH. Then went back to bed. Felt great the morning after, like it was all a dream. THE MILK I've never seen these pastries before. The white one is creamy, filed with organic milk and vanilla bean morsels. The pink is the same, but flavored with strawberry. It's really soft and tastes like fresh, creamy milk. Not that sugary, but a little too silky for me. O m g I purchased my mummer's anniversary cake here and it was the most delicious thing ever. It is called the "Sweet Potato Cake" and it is light, crumbly and with a light whip of potato cake in between the layers. This is a great cake for older people. My mummer has diabetes so she can not eat cake usually; even a tiny choco bar makes her sick. But she can eat a slice of this cake no problem and it is also delicious to me too! Also sweet potato is a very good cancer fighter so I made sure my dad ate many slices to help him fight the cancer. I highly recommend this cake as well as any other cakes they serve! This place sells out FAST! I've been here twice now, and for some reason..they never seem to have enough inventory. I love the butter cream loaves of bread..this seems to sell out the fastest! Things to try: Custard Bread - The cream custard bread with strawberry jam is effing AMAZING. It is also the most DENSE bread they have here. Seriously, just try picking it up. I have wanted to come here for a while. I sure am glad I finally did. although I'm not so sure the pastries I bought felt the same way. The poor sweets were slaughtered almost as soon as we were out the store. A course I tried a few pastries while I was there and manged to get pieces of others. So I have had the croissant,strawberry pastry, Milk Soft and the Butter cream bread. They seem to use the same or similar cream on a few of the breads but I like it so I'm fine with that. I liked every thing I had here with my favorite being the Strawberry pastry or Milk Soft. I had a pie and twist later but I think I still like the ones with cream best. read more

If you want to try good breads here, go as early as possible because they only bake their goods only once a day! I first tried their Mammoth bread(with cream and strawberry jam inside) and Walnut Baguette with milk cream inside. I really liked both of them. Afterwards, this place became one of my favorite bakeries, and I tried all of their goods. I used to come here every morning. And yesterday, I went to this bakery in the afternoon. As usual, I bought a box of different breads. Oh my goodness! The breads were not fresh. I mean the breads I bought were not as tasty as I've been tried(especially Baguette, cream breads, and red-bean breads). And a day after, I just told a young girl working here about the breads I bought yesterday and she even complained that it is not tasty and fresh because they only bake their good in the early morning. She rudely said that I should come early morning if I want fresh ones! I feel very disappointed, not only because of the breads I bought yesterday.
