I have used Totally Techy on various occasions, both on a personal level (fixing my laptop) and on a professional level (office IT setup).
What is interesting about Totally Techy is that they are just that: in a totally geeky way and ashamedly so, they are totally techy guys.
(When they talk to you, they talk in plain English not in IT jargon though, which is great)
They seem to know everything there is to know about computers and modern technologies (they also setup some CCTV systems for a friend).
When I first walked into their shop, just of Uxbridge station, I knew right away I was in a good place. It looks neat, professional and the shop is fully branded with images if their "super hero" mascot "Super Arthur" (I told you they were geeky, right?..).
In the reception area, an old computer screen has been turned into a sweets jar, and you can just help yourself to a little sugar boost free of charge.
When we got down to business, I was dealing with Paul and Nick.
First thing was changing my hard drive to a SSD drive, installing windows 8 and all its drivers and making everything work.
That was job done, without a problem. All was working well. I even got a few text notifications letting me know the progress status of my job.
When I went to pick up the computer, I was given a full tour of the new windows 8 features, recommended software etc.
Really great service.
Professionally, I run a web marketing agency. I have since used Totally Techy for all our computer needs and I know recommend them to our clients for bigger networks etc. The feedback has always been great.
It has been a pleasure dealing with them on every occasion. read more
