I stop in every 2 weeks or so to buy a bottle of vodka. Someone gave me a $100 gift card for my birthday, so I went in this afternoon to buy 4 bottles to use the whole gift card. As I was checking out with a nice cashier, the manager with the big beard, Bob Antonius, walked up to me and shouted "I TOLD YOU YOU CAN'T BUY ALCOHOL FOR YOUR SOCIAL CLUB." I thought he was joking at first until he repeated himself. I asked "What social club? What are you talking about?" He was adamant that he's "helped me in the aisle and told me that it's illegal for me to buy alcohol for my social club." What social club?? This man has never helped me with anything during the numerous times I'd been in this store. I told him I have no idea what in the world he's talking about. He just kept repeating himself and raising his voice. I was shocked he was speaking at a customer in such a manner, especially in front of other customers that were in line. He eventually said "Well I guess you have a twin that runs a social club" and walked away. What a terrible way to treat a customer! I'm glad I used the whole gift card because I will never return to Total Wine. I want you to cancel my rewards membership. I will be very vocal to everyone about how this man treated me. read more

Great wine store that recently opened in August 2023. It has a wide variety of selection of wine, beer, liquor, and nonalcoholic drinks with snacks! The store is brand new with large aisles. Shelves are well stocked and organized. Staff is friendly. They even offer private events in the back. Private parking lot at the front of the store. Definitely check it out! read more

I shouldn't even give this place 1 star.. On 09/27/2025 at 5:10-5:15pm: As soon as I walked in and located what I was looking for, I was immediately ID'd by the manager Brian/Bob (not sure) a short, old, balding white male with black glasses and a white "Total Wine" shirt. I immediately pulled out my ID but explained that my younger sister, a minor, was not of legal age but accompanied me because I AM HER LEGAL GUARDIAN. The manager immediately told me to leave, and stated that he would not be serving me and that it is "illegal to bring a minor into Total Wine" I fired back and asked "Even if I leave her in the vehicle?" He shouted to "GET OUT OF HIS STORE!!" and chased my sister and I out. I cooled down and immediately looked up Total Wines policy which states "To help in this effort, we don't allow any person under the age of 21 to enter our store unless accompanied by an adult guardian of legal drinking age*. All parties in a group may be required to present identification. If you appear to be age 30 or under, our team members will ask for identification to ensure we are doing everything we can to prevent sales to minors. It's our responsibility to our neighbors and the community." So I returned to the store, and calmly explained that I read over Total Wine's policy on their website & that I am her legal guardian, I am of legal drinking age and that I shouldn't have been wrongly chased out. He processed to walk up to my face, nose to nose and threatened "TO LEAVE HIS STORE BEFORE IT GETS UGLY". I left Total Wine in Dedham and proceeded to head over to Dedham Police Headquarters to report the incident. I do not appreciate being wrongfully escorted out, I do not appreciate being shouted at, and finally do NOT appreciate being threatened by the manager of this bullshit establishment. As a former retail store manager, I hope your company retrains managers to speak to every customer in a respectful manner instead of power tripping when they're proven wrong. read more

Great service and clean store. Team had some great recommendations on local craft beers to check out (Moghty Squirrel Cloud Candy, Night Shift, etc). Just like many of the other locations I've been to, had a great experience at this location. read more

I called multiple times trying to check on the status of a keg i ordered weeks ago. No response for weeks, and whenever I call to check on the status the phone just rings and no one ever picks up. This location is a joke and a very bad look on the Total Wine, as all other locations i have been to are great! read more

This is the first time that I have been to Total Wines in Dedham and it will probably be the last. We came to this Total Wines because it was the only place that had the beer that my husband wanted. While we were there I went to wine tasting table. The person doing the tasting was only interested in one person. I waited a few minutes and was totally ignored!! In fact he looked at me and was just ignorant. We usually go to the Braintree Total Wines. The ones doing the wine tasting encourage people to try the wine and are very personable. The whole Braintree staff are helpful and nice. I will be sure to tell people of my experience in Dedham. read more

I usually shop near my home for beverages for my family or a family function! This place was not what I expected! Preachy sales people and prices were very much higher than the place I usually go to! Selection was no different so why travel full them my own area! read more
