It affected my daily life in ways that were both physically and emotionally exhausting. Thanks to Dr. Hidalgo's treatment plan, pain management, and the use of durable medical equipment, my pain has improved tremendously and is now almost nonexistent. There was a time when I thought surgery might be my only option. Instead of rushing into it, Dr. Hidalgo took the time to carefully review my MRI and gave me an honest assessment. He told me surgery wasn't necessary, and I truly appreciated his integrity and commitment to doing what was best for me rather than recommending an unnecessary procedure. What stands out most about Dr. Hidalgo and his team is the genuine care they show every patient. From the moment you walk in, you're treated with kindness, respect, and compassion. They don't just focus on treating the injury--they take the time to listen, understand what you're going through, and support you throughout the process. I am incredibly thankful for the care I've received and highly recommend Dr. Hidalgo and his entire team.

I was wanting the Keryflex treatment for a broken toe nail that never grew back. I called about 3 weeks to a month ago. The person who answered the phone repeated said she would call me back to schedule an appointment and never did. I was the one who had to keep calling to try to get service. She said that I had to see the doctor which I was willing to do, but after further discussion she said that she could schedule an apt and if the technician saw it and deemed it ok to do the treatment they would, if not I would be turned away. FINE. I have been to doctors and I know I do not have any problems, so I was fine with this being that I am sure I do not have issues, but I was also willing to go see their doctor. I a runner and a hiker, so that the cause. I have nothing, no fungus, no discoloration, no nothing, it is just super short. I kept calling and finally got an apt with the technician, I asked for the address but was driving and she said she would text me, never did, said I would get a text confirmation, never did. I had to call again and finally she did text the address the day before treatment (actually while I was typing yesterday's review). Mind you, all this happen more than just once. Today, the day of, I get a call from the technician that they cannot perform the procedure. I live about 40 minutes away and was about to leave. Who knows about the spa side of this, but the office side is ridiculous. NO common sense, no knowledge of procedures, and no customer service. The person who answers the phones is a complete idiot. I had been looking forward to the service. Why in the world would I have NOT seen the doctor if I had to? Why would she have scheduled an appointment for me if I had NOT seen the doctor and knew I had to in order to receive the treatment? Unfortunately these idiots are the only people in SA who do this. My recommendation, don't go to these people for anything. There are a lot of podiatrist in SA that are professional and have a knowledgeable office staff. To be clear, the customer service was so bad, I will never know how the "actual service" really is. I wouldn't bother. Funny how I was weary about it to begin with. Also when you call, it sounds like a cell phone, I even wondered if it was a real doctors office. Go somewhere else, don't even chance it.

On a Thursday evening, I made an appointment for Friday morning through their website. It was really pretty easy! However, I grew concerned I hadn't had any X-rays prior to making my appointment. In any case, I called, they said no problem! Be warned, a canceled appointment less than 24 hours in advance will cost you $75. The day of my appointment, I went in and was surprised to find how hard it was to find a place to park. The parking lot is huge. I went in probably two minutes late. The wait to be seen was about 30 minutes, possibly more. Then there was the wait in the room, not too horribly lengthy. I was shuffled off to x-rays, which was quick and efficient. I figured there would be a wait for the results. My doctor, Dr. Gates, came in and introduced himself, apologized about the wait, and tried to get to know me. He was very pleasant but spoke a little fast. I'm sure it was because he's probably done this a few times. I was given my options, decided on a game plan and was on my way. Overall, everyone was super nice. I will say if you're not familiar with orthopedic doctors, it's not one size fits all. Although I have other issues, I will have to see doctors that that specialize in other joints. I feel really good about this visit, I am looking forward to following the recommendations and getting better. Fingers crossed!
