Great location. Rick is honest and trustworthy. Several friends of ours keep their boats there after having poor experiences at two other local marinas and suggested Total Marine. The owner Rick is miserable person to deal with I have gone to him on accession but this time I'm done with him brought my boat very unfriendly kept telling me what he wanted to fix despite I told him that's not what I wanted and that would cost thousands and thousands of dollars , I purchased a trailer from him and he was has sweet and friendly has he could took my calls anything I called , I've been boating for 25 years and have experienced with boats this guy doesn't deserve business and treats you with no professionalism and respect towards customers I would never recommend them to anyone worse guy to deal with and is work always is very questionable. read more

Paid to launch our new boat and hopefully find some friends near by to help with advice and such as we are first time boat owners. Left in the after noon and our boat ran better than we thought we didnt realize we had stayed out until after close and called. It was after 5 and there was no answer. I did not leave a message though i should have. We got back to the marina after 630 and started looking for someone to open the gate. We found someone who knew the owner and i made a comment to him "i don't want to have to call the police i don't know what to do." This comment enraged the owner to the point my partner and i were in utter shock. He went on about how he believed we were taking the boat to a house and was staying in the water, which was never said, and my truck and trailer was in his lot all day. After he threatened to "Beat my ass" and so on the reason he was so upset finally came out. I apologized for the comment and explained it may have been out of line but i didn't understand my options. There was a storm over the bay we had to drive though to get back, finding another marina and getting the truck there was not an option. He did at least have the decency to help us get our boat out of the water and gave us a hand getting our wench working. Though not without condescending comments the entire time. I must add at no point was i told when the ramp was going to be closed or if there was an option to take it out after 5. I guess this would be part of the misunderstanding though as a customer paying for a service, i believe the way he acted was ridiculous. Melted over me saying i might have to call the cops. Then apologizing for being late and interrupting whatever he was doing. What else would my options be, dock the boat on his property and come back to it impounded and have cops there anyway? read more
