This place is amazing. From the moment you walk in you are greeted by friendly, vibrant, personable staff and they really make you feel special. I had the I had the 'Luxury Facial' and it was truly amazing. 1 full hour of bliss. Sarah is a unique therapist who not only gives a beautiful facial, she is also a reiki master and I could feel the reiki coming through in her treatment. I have never experienced a facial quite like Sarah's and I have to say I am 100% hooked. My skin is glowing and feels so soft and hydrated. The products they use are sensational (I couldn't help but get some to take home). I will be back and can't speak more highly of this gorgeous team. What a beautiful environment you have created. I feel like I'm on cloud nine right now. Can't wait for my next appointment

After spending two recent visits at a cost of nearly $1,000 for those two alone, for my daughter's…read more15th birthday present from my husband and I, my daughter walked out with brown, blonde and ORANGE hair, and NOT blonde as requested in her INITIAL visit, some months ago, last year (not one of the two I am referring to here). From memory that visit was around the $600 mark for that also. Oh yes, and please note: The orange coppery color was put in by Royals in the first place last year! Using some toner which they stated that they really never know what color it's going to be at the end. Well, easy solution is don't use it. Simple. Their 'quotes' are literally on scrap paper (one guy tore the smallest corner of a pad at the front desk and then threw it in the bin after he'd shown me) or verbally only. So they can't be held accountable. So they've since had two separate occasions to get rid of the copper (always claiming that they had to look after the integrity of the hair - which was in a perfectly healthy condition to begin with, let's add!) - so they've 'toned' it last year - went orange in a huge band all across the top of a couple of months. Huge. Provably 10 centimetres approx. We've waited until her birthday for them to have another go at it as they promised to fix the orange up then. No. They said they could get some of it but not all of it. But one more visit and it would all be gone. But look how WONDERFULLY soft it was NOW (was before) and in SUCH good condition. wtf. Why can't they just do the job and not make her hair fall out like good hairdressers do??!! Isn't that why we're paying the big bucks??? So then onto making another visit - just two days ago. Unfortunately I couldn't get parking in time so let my 15 year old go in with her girlfriend, with a picture of the hair color she wanted (we were promised DEFINITELY get the copper out THIS time and a color would be no problem at last visit) - and was told hairdresser just couldn't do it sorry. Bianca would have to sign a legal document that would excuse the hairdressers from any liability if she had any breakage (how flipping scary for a 15 year old to be told that??!!!)) BUT hairdresser was SO EXCITED to be with Bianca on the 'journey of her hair'. Put in some OTHER expensive toner apparently - and ORANGE is still there in fact, more of it - put in some brown over the orange to tone it down a bit and look how soft and wonderful it is!! Again! $360 + dollars later, and she now has THREE steps in her hair at the back. Blonde, brown and orange. Looks atrocious!! Had the audacity to then ask my daughter to come back in, in another six weeks, to 'get rid of the orange band ..'. I just told her that we're not coming back. So then she said "Eight weeks"? I said, look, we've spent, just these last two visits nearly $1,000 for her 15th birthday and you still can't manage to give her the color she wanted!! Plus she's still got the orange band that you put in last year. We're not coming back . Maybe for Christmas (I put that in because I didn't want to upset my daughter who was listening but we won't be going anywhere near the place). Their quotes to me were completely useless, and their utter ineptitude in coloring and toning were jaw-dropping. An ENORMOUS amount of money for completely the wrong outcome. Three visits and still couldn't get it right. Full of excuses. Strong advice from my experience - buyer beware! Don't go there!

Too many times I have been dissapointed at other beauty salons where there is noise which disturbs my peace. Not so at The Beauty Spot in Wahroonga. I had a professional tan done at the Beauty Spot and the overall result was very well done. The tan didn't have any streaks and looked very natural. I was very impressed and would recommend to anyone. I would probably had gone a little darker on the tan. However, it was my first professional tan so I didn't want to look too brown! There was nothing orange about the tan either- to my relief!

Thank you for the lovely wash and dry you did on my hair, and for showing me how to smooth flyways - both with serum, and with a tissue and hairspray. Your style made my hair look silky, gorgeous, and it sat really well. I went to the dealership feeling and looking confident. The test drive went really well. I loved the car so much that I spent the next 48 hours completing a loan application for it. It was intense, challenging work with a lot of things to think about. But last Monday (31st July), the finance manager rang to say my car loan had been approved! I was (and still am) thrilled! I know you only did a simple wash and dry. But I just wanted you to know that my appointment with you helped me look and feel my best, and it created a great professional impression. Having frequented the salon almost…read morea dozen times, I am well versed when it comes to the ins and outs of this hairdressing saloon. The services are overpriced and there are many apprentices conducting hair cuts and doing hair colouring. While I am all for learning, this can be a little off-putting when they check with senior stylists to confirm whether it looks good or not. This can put you a little on edge! I am one of those people who enjoy going to the hairdressers to catch up the abundant weekly gossip magazines. I find it particularly frustrating when the hairdresser constantly interrupts my reading with the standard "any special occasion?", or "what are you plans for the weekend?" I'd simply like to sit back, relax and read! The owner, Emiliano, is friendly and accommodating and the saloon is run as a family style business. They employ plenty of hairdressers and have floor staff to bring your magazines, tea, coffee or water. Unfortunately, they try and push their products on you every visit which can be frustrating at best. If I wanted conditioner at $50 a bottle, I would ask! I have not, and will not venture back to e-salon again!
