This papershop / newsagents is just on the corner of torrington avenue is is not particularly nice in anyway.
The people who run it are pleasant and give you a smile and will have a chat with you.
But that does not make up for other problems.
The problems : First up is the amount of adult magazines on show as soon as you walk through the door. And not just on the top shelf as they should be but literally down to the bottom shelf. Which is not appropriate in my opinion.
Secondly the shop itslef from the outside and in looks shabby. It does not look as if it is well looked after, rather just opened and closed every day.
If it was repainted or even had some kind of facelift would make it slightly more appealing.
The final complaint is that it randomly closes, some days its justs shut for no obvious reason. Which should not really be done, but what can you do?
So to pop in and grab a paper is fine but thats all!
Or even the occasional pot noodle or chocolate bar.
Dont take children in for the obvious reasons, adult magazines on the lowest shelf possible. read more
