When you drive up to the building, it looks somewhat tired from the outside, however there is evidence that some repainting/repair work is being done which will improve "first impressions" Stayed in a superior room overlooking the sea. The balcony gets sunshine all day which is absolutely superb. The room itself is spacious with huge amounts of wardrobe space, one of which houses the in room safe, which is more than adequate for an iPad, 12 in laptop and all your other smaller valuables. There is a small fridge and also a TV in the room. The bathroom has a shaving mirror situated in a superb position for light. Only slight concern in the room was the aircon which seemed to have a limited range. Possible there is central cooling controlled by the hotel but this might be of concern during the hotter summer months. Staff in the breakfast area were friendly and although it is buffet style, they will will help you fetch and carry and clear your table. Thank you Antonio and Carmen. If I ever vacation in southern Spain again, I would for sure stay here! It's a beautiful place on the water. It has its own casino, very fun, and next to that there is a restaurant where we ate the best steaks we've ever had in our lives (still, after 14 more years have gone by)! read more
