We stayed at Torre de Palma for three magical nights. We did the Harvest Experience, which included a wine tasting, tour of the vineyards, a meal (lunch or dinner), and breakfast every day. This is the kind of place where you visit and plan on staying to enjoy the pool, steam room, comfortable bed, delicious wine and meals, and the views from the tower. We slept so well at this hotel, with its dark, spacious rooms. You can feed and visit the horses, explore the vegetable garden, and roam the grounds. The onsite restaurant - Basili - was fantastic. We ate there for multiple meals. The wine, especially the red, is really good. There isn't much else close by (though you can make some fun day trips to other vineyards, towns, and ruins - check out the restaurant Gandaha in Estremoz) so plan on going there to relax, enjoy, and drink wine. read more
