No food supermarket inside but Carrefour is just 50 meters away in a separate building: https://yelp.to/qTKq/6doQybZokY Habaneras used to be closed on Sundays but is now open. The larger competitor La Zenia is open on all Sundays the government allows it to open. I believe Habaneras had to open too because of that. There's an area for kids in the upper floor with attractions. There are a few cafes too. They do events on holidays - summer concerts, Christmas, the Three Kings etc. Parking is easy outside or inside. Overall - a cozy shopping center close to Torrevieja city center. Perfect if you don't want to drive 10 km extra to get access to a wider choice (which you probably don't need).

AKI is located inside Habaneras shopping center and its business hours are unusual for a DIY store in this area - it is open till 10 pm including Sundays. The last thing I want to worry about is whether the store is already closed at 5 or 6 pm :) It's not always easy to find an employee if you need to ask something, but once you've caught one you get the answers - they know about the products they sell. They offer heaters and stoves of any type for the winter season - electric, natural gas and firewood. Many items can be bought cheaper elsewhere but it's probably not worth your time. Convenient and free parking of Habaneras shopping center. Update: Just noticed, this is my 100th "first" (first tips and first reviews combined)!
