I recently visited Turkey with a couple of my friends. We came to Kusadasi to visit Ephesus as it was one of the many places we came to see in Turkey. While discovering Kusadasi, we passed by many restaurants and our eyes caught onto Toros Restaurant which claims to be the oldest fish restaurant in Kusadasi ;"Since 1894".
We chose grilled red snapper as the main course and we started off with fried calamari, grilled octopus and shrimp mixed with garlic and butter. It was the most scrumptious meal ate during my entire stay. I would want to revisit so I can try the rest of the dishes on the menu.
The workers were really friendly as they made us laugh and joked around. They served us really well and were constantly delivering top notch service. Also, the atmosphere of the area was great! We sat outside and enjoyed our meal as we gazed into the Aegean sea.The portions were perfect size. They were large and in fact, we just barely ate everything on our plates.
Overall, for this kind of service, hospitality, great tasting food, large portions, great atmosphere, and incredible view of the ocean, other places (especially United States) would have charged us a fortune. We were not surprised at the final bill at all as you are eating at once of the most well known fish restaurants in kusadasi! read more
