The pricing is relatively cheap, everything tastes authentic and is prepared ahead of time so you can order, pay, and leave in under five minutes if you've got somewhere to be. Or sit down and eat; whatever's your preference. I ordered the curried chicken and fried plantains, both were fantastic. Curry was tender and spiced well, and plantains were sweet and lightly fried. My only complaint is that there were a lot of bones in the curry. Good for flavor, but bad if you're eating lunch at the office and trying not to look like a complete barbarian in front of your coworkers.

I knew the flavor of the food was going to be excellent, and mom was very impressed and happy..lol I was happy she enjoyed the food a lot. Now, while we waited for the food, the waitress brought us Peruvian toasted corn that was really delicious in taste. I ordered the Ceviche and another dish with the Steak. The Steak, I requested it half order as I thought it could be too big, but not, I should had ordered the complete Steak dish, it was delicious. Everything is delicious, Fish or Steak, is only great and greater flavors. I love how I can try food from different countries, with their original and unique flavors and seasonings without having to fly out of the US. This absolutely, a must have.

Not…read morequite downtown, not quite Pine Brook, selecting this location is either an indication of confidence or foolhardiness. Overall, I don't think that confidence is misplaced. Aromas serves excellent Peruvian food, my primary compliment being for the large ceviches made to order. My first complaint is that the restaurant space is an assault on the senses. The relatively small main room/bar has an outrageous assortment of lights, including two strands of blinking lights as well as two TVs, contrasting decor, a chirping smoke detector, and music that sounded like it was clashing with different music being played in the main dining room. I'm close to a 0/10 for ambiance here. The second, more mainstream complaint is that the prices are high, maybe even outlandishly high for Scranton. The portions are large but this was the first time in my adult life that I ever winced at a menu in Scranton. What was supposed to be a moderate lunch for two ended up being a $100+ extravaganza that would have been difficult to finish in a dinner seating. Other thing was that two of the fried mussels in my entree had cracked shells--would have liked to see more quality control for such an expensive dish. Otherwise it was good. Overall, this is a unique restaurant serving basically everything in splittable portions and I look forward to returning. (Yes, this lot containing one of the last remaining preserved "Scranton Horses" almost convinced me to give an extra star.)

Now here you can dine in and go "hog wild" or do a takeout where they will charge you by the pound. I walked in greeted in a welcoming professional manor; I like that. My first plate was some of their buffalo wings, (it was hot). some chicken and broccoli, lo mien, egg roll, and some General Tso's Chicken. The chicken was nice and soft, broccoli was just the way I enjoy eating it, as you all know I am not a vegetable fan, but I am getting better. Now for plate number two I try and get items that are a little uncommon like mashed potatoes, I tried their spare rib, steak and peppers and I did try the cubed taters. The spuds were instant, well tasted instant because with non-instant you get pieces of potato at times no matter how much they whip them. For those that have never been here their located in the Pittston Walmart parking lot. Until next review, be blessed and stay safe.
