Would highly recommend!

Her husband coordinated two visits and installs. My experience with the installs were fine except for the 2nd one. The price was competitive for the work. It was not "Home Depot or Lowes" quality but it was very acceptable. They were also timely. I deducted two stars for his customer service. The slab on 1st order was cut a little off but my contractor worked it out. No issue. My kitchen counter top cut was worse. The back edge against the wall ranged between 1/16 and up to 1/2 in gap. They installed it. It was 1/4 wider than my backsplash in some areas. Also, they didnt leave the sink cutout. I was using this for my kitchen island top so they would match. I reached out to them so we could correct this. Barry kept making promises to call me back. He stated their cutter was broken. He advised me they could come out to see the gap after telling me to try caulk. Then he didn't answer anymore after never replacing my slab cutout or money. I had to spend the $100 and extra time with another vendor to get the slab I had already paid Barry for and to get my gap sealed correctly. I want to recommend them but because of this I can not. The service with him is not consistent and I don't have the money to waste on repeat work. I say go visit the location, talk to Rachel and decide for yourself.

Cabinet & Stone City - Kennesaw, GA kitchen cabinets

My cabinet doors are now falling off, and Cabinet and Stone City will not honor the warranty. I have contacted the store in Dallas, and they say they are no longer franchisees and do not have to make the repairs. I have called several times to the locations in Georgia and no one will return my calls. I did speak one time with a young lady named Monica, she promised she would have someone call me, and I have yet to receive a returned call. I have left her multiple messages as well., Bottom line is this company does not stand behind it's product and installation,. Be very careful when ordering from Cabinet and Stone City.

Then the designer (Kim) was unprofessional with me on the phone when I called to discuss. I am doing a small kitchen in my basement. She informed me that there wasn't a way to fit all the stuff I wanted onto the wall. Theirs was going to be my 4th and final quote, so I told her that I was sure it would all fit. Then she got an attitude with me when I told her what size sink I was wanting to put in (I already own all this keep in mind). I told her I wanted to put a 20" sink in the space and she informed me that they don't even make a 20" sink. Umm... ok. I have one sitting in my garage right now. Major attitude with this lady + horrible communication = I'll def be going elsewhere. I had an amazingly pleasant experience with Frugal Kitchens, Lowes and even Home Depot (who typically aren't known for their customer service). Skip Cabinet and Stone City and go elsewhere... Find a place that treats their potential customers with kindness and respect.

Solo Granite & Marble - Carrara Quartz

I HIGHLY recommend Solo! Our neighbor recommended Solo Granite and Marble since they did beautiful,…read morequality work for him. We had a small job, using a remnant to replace a wooden top on our vanity, which is a piece of furniture. Mariela showed us around the remnant area, offering a large selection and explaining the difference among granite, quartz, and marble. We chose the piece we wanted, and she marked off the side/corner area that we wanted to use. As the shop began work, Victor saw a flaw in the granite that had character but might be a risk to the piece in the future. We went to the shop and chose a different side/corner of this beautiful piece of granite. The turnaround time was fabulous! I called on a Friday, they came out to measure on the next Tuesday, they ordered a special color of silicone to go well with the granite, and they installed on the next Tuesday, maintaining excellent communication/check ins the whole time. Victor Sr. and Victor Jr. came to install, putting in the new sink and faucets (which we had supplied to them when they came out to measure), and they set it up perfectly for us, managing around a faucet and vessel sink that gave a bit of a challenge. We were thrilled with the quality, the turnaround time, the price, the professionalism, and the fact that we could support a small, family-run business.

Atlanta Stoneworks - A section of the showroom

Atlanta Stoneworks

We used Atlanta stone work for our kitchen and our basement bar counter, back in August of 2019…read more I didn't write the review right away for a few reasons. One being, that I didn't want to write the review when emotions were high. And also, some of the issues didn't come up right away, and I wanted to give them time to fix it. Unfortunately, despite numerous attempts on our part, they have not fixed anything. First off, the installers were beyond rude to me. While demo-ing, they took out the old counters, and then didn't appear to be removing the backsplash like I had asked when purchasing the granite. I asked them a few times, not sure if there was a language barrier? But they didn't appear to have any plans on removing the backsplash. I had to call their boss and have him ask them, and they finally did. But you could tell they weren't too happy about having to do this "extra" work. And were not pleased that I took the matter to their boss. Then they were installing the island piece and it was clearly much larger than what I had ordered. I couldn't open the fridge doors all the way. They guy said "it's ok you're skinny enough, you can squeeze in there. Big islands are better than small islands." I tried to explain that I would like to be able to open my fridge but they just said, no it looks great and proceeded to glue it into place. Again, I had to call the salesperson and ask them to have them cut it down to the correct size that I ordered. After that they were out the door within minutes. No sealing or anything like that. It looked good so I figured I would worry about that later. Other than the seam that was right where the faucet was, I was happy. The plumber they recommended came and installed the faucet the following day, but said it was unusual to have the seam right there where the faucet was. A couple of days later they faucet was wiggly. So we called him back and he came out and tightened it. A few days later it was wiggly again so we called a different plumber and he said the seam being right there around the faucet was suboptimal and would likely always cause an issue. But he tightened it and it lasted a few months at least. But it's such a hassle. I also noticed right away that the sink had zero angle to it. So the food just sat there on the bottom unless I manually shoved it down the drain. I mean, I didn't think to ask if the sink drains. That is a major design flaw. My sink now constantly looks gross. Anyway, a few months later my husband called and asked what material our counters were and if they were sealed. No one called him back. We emailed. No response texted. Nothing. Then we started noticing stains and dullness and etching on it. Even though I used special stone cleaner and always used a soft rag. If I left a lemon slice on the counter, the next day it had a permanent white dull area where the lemon was. So we called and complained and someone came out and agreed our counters looked awful. They assured us that they would come out and seal it and polish it up, good as new. They never came. We followed up many times and still no one has come. We were finally replacing our cabinets (we did it in a weird order! We thought our old cabinets would be ok but they didn't last as long as we wanted). So we replaced them knowing fair well the counter might crack in the process. We were lucky they didn't. And we were able to save them. However our cabinet guy asked us why we chose marble, since we have many small kids? I was like marble, no it's quartzite. He said, that's the same thing. Now I realize that I should have researched it a little more. I assumed it was just like quartz. I told the salesman that we had many kids and I needed something durable and maintenance free. And he assured me that this was super low maintenance and durable. Umm no. It's marble. Everything stains it. And everything takes the shine away. Especially when you don't know it's marble and they don't seal it. We've had several rental homes and flippers in the past and the stone installers always seal it or leave sealer for the home owner in my experience. Or at the very least explain how to care for it and let them know it's extremely fragile marble??? Or perhaps respond to the customer when they call with an issue? All in all, buyer beware. We had very rude installers. We were misinformed and steered in the wrong direction.. We've had terrible responsiveness and our counters aren't even 3 years old and they look awful? Between the janky sink, the awkward seam, the stains and dullness and etched areas... what a disappointment. Would not recommend to say the least.
