Top Property Lettings are an excellent student housing company who have a large number of properties right the way across Liverpool. The staff are very helpful and friendly and they do their best to help you find a property which is ideally suited to your needs. There properties go fast which is a good thing as it reflects the quality of the properties they provide for their tennants. For a £200 deposit they can provide you with a four bedroom house in the Kensington area with bills included at £60 per person per week, this is exceptional value. They regularly check their properties and are quick to repair damages and generally make your stay as one of their tennants as enjoyable as possible. On the whole Top Propert Lettings are a reliable, friendly and good value housing company and if your a student in Liverpool looking for accommodation you could do far worse than go to these guys. read more

Whilst they were once probably a good student letting agency all I can say now is that Top Property will expect the world and more from you as tenants and give you no respect in return. Maintenence issues are never fixed and you are threatened with fines for anything and everything. Their houses are sub-standard and overpriced and they fine you for rent payment when you get your loan (they expect you to have huge amounts of cash at hand well before loans come in). All in all, the worst student letting company that I have dealt with over my few years here as a student and I would strongly discourage you to rent a house through them when there are many more reputable companies available. Absolute rubbish, as is the way with student letting companies. I've rented a house from them for two years now - the first year was mostly ok, they responded to complaints fairly quickly and were a very pleasant team. This year, however, they've been completely useless. We've been waiting for a serious maintenance request for eight months now, and we've been without the internet (that is included in the rent!!) for almost three weeks. They haven't been responsive at all, and only send us basic replies at best - we're two weeks away from the end of our tenancy and they've only just registered our emails as 'formal complaints'. Don't bother renting from Topproperty, however from what I can gather about letting agencies in Liverpool, this is one of the least awful (if that's saying much). read more

Do not use this agency! For anyone who's looking for a student property to rent, I beg you not to use this letting agency! Since living in the property we've had trouble with different issues regarding the property. One of the tenants had her personal items broke and taken away to be fixed and still wasn't returned! Our washing machine was broken for over a month and wasn't fixed, so due to this we had no choice but to go to the local laundrette and were not reimbursed! Since leaving the property and being left over 7 weeks, our deposit still hasn't been returned and we are still being charged for things we had done before leaving the property. When moving in, we had to carry out a deep clean of the property before we could move in our belongings and yet since leaving the property in a much cleaner state than we arrived in, we are being charged a lot of money for it to be deep cleaned, again! They are asking for receipts and photos to prove we have done all this within the property so not only are they messing us around for taking so long to return they are charging extortionate prices within our deposit return!! Do not use these and I hope I have saved someone from going through what we have!!! read more
