This is a fantastic place to bring the whole family--fun for all ages! For just $9 per person (kids…read moreand adults), you get access to a huge indoor play space filled with themed areas like a veterinary clinic, grocery store, mechanic garage, painting station, dinosaur zone, and more. There are also sensory stations that encourage imagination and creative exploration. A brand-new indoor water area is set to open on June 10th, which will be an exciting addition. The outdoor space is just as impressive, featuring nature trails, a sandbox, water play area, treehouse, bikes, and more. We especially appreciated the separate toddler-only zones that keep the littlest ones safe while they play. With so much to do, we easily spent around 3 hours exploring. You're welcome to pack a lunch and enjoy it at one of the indoor picnic tables or outside in the peaceful pollinator garden. Highly recommend for a fun, interactive, and affordable family outing!

We had the greatest time here with our Grandson. He is 17 months old and played for 2 1/2 hours…read moreand could have played longer but we needed to go eat lunch. There are many activities that entertain kids and I would say up to ten maybe. Some of the areas included were painting, grocery store, a car repair shop, restaurant, water feature, air flow type activities, small area for toddlers, outdoor activities, blocks, plus many more things. I like that adults have to be with children in order to enter. We decided to go ahead and get a year long membership. With the membership I could put my grandchildren on it and they can even go with their parents if we are not with them at no charge. There are also workers spread throughout the area who are so very kind and do a great job at keeping the place picked up and organized.

I encourage anyone thinking about this school to not attend here!…read more My experience with Washburn University's Diagnostic Medical Sonography program was extremely disappointing, and ultimately I was put between a rock and a hard place and withdrew because of how my clinical placement was handled by the school. When I was accepted into the program, I was given a clinical site and was under the impression that the necessary arrangements were being completed. I was told that the school was working on the paperwork with the clinical facility. However, as the program start date approached, I discovered that the affiliation paperwork had still not been finalized (the school didn't tell me that, I had to attempt to schedule my clinicals and find that out from someone who has no connecting to the school). What was most frustrating was the lack of communication. I was not proactively informed that there was a problem with my clinical placement. I had to find out myself that the clinical affiliation was still unresolved and that the school and legal department they had worked with, had not completed the agreement. This was not a minor issue. Clinical placement is an essential part of a sonography program, and Washburn's own DMS information states that full acceptance is contingent upon a signed affiliation agreement. The program also explains that the Clinical Coordinator is responsible for working with the facility to obtain the necessary documentation. (Washburn University). As to which after I addressed the issue to her, I was told via email: "It was my understanding that as long as we completed the affiliation agreement process, we would be good to go.".... They never made 100% certainty. By the time I found out there was a problem, the program was 2.5 weeks from beginning and there was nothing I could do other that contact the school, who should have known about this issue or at least figured it out. I was left without a confirmed clinical placement and without a clear alternative plan. This also affected my ability to complete some of the requirements needed to begin the program. Although I did already spend money on some things, as to which I cannot receive that money back. I ultimately decided that I could not move forward under those circumstances. I was not withdrawing because I had lost interest in sonography, I withdrew because I did not feel comfortable committing my time and tuition to a program when such a critical component had not been secured or communicated to me in a timely manner. I strongly recommend that anyone considering this program / school ask very specific questions about their clinical placement before committing. Get confirmation that the affiliation agreement is fully executed and that the clinical site is actually secured. The biggest issue for me was not that an affiliation agreement encountered delays. Things happen. The issue was that I was allowed to move toward the start of the program without being clearly informed that my clinical placement was still unresolved, and I was not given a satisfactory alternative when it became apparent that the placement was falling through. They expected me to give them more time (after having 3 months to work on this issue). They said that after 2.5 weeks if they still didn't answer, I could then withdraw hopefully in time to get my tuition back. Mind you, those 2.5 weeks I still would have been expected to do course, so I would have had to potentially spend more money on textbooks that would not be refunded if the school didn't get it together. I expected better communication and organization from a university program where clinical placement is essential to completing the degree. I was give no alternative to them falling through with this and email replies got shorter and shorter, as well as more blunt and less helpful as the school figured out they weren't getting tuition money from me DUE TO THEM FALLING THROUGH.

The Admissions department including the director do not communicate. I am absolutely shocked they have been able to keep this place running and some of these folks still have jobs. It is common knowledge in the professional world to know that the way management operates is an indicator of how the work environment will be. Because I understand that to be true, I immediately started to look for other options. If you appreciate professionalism and proper communication, I would not suggest this at all.
