My daughter and I went in to see Robert for tutoring sessions to help prepare her for SAT testing…read more We booked 2hour sessions for a month before testing. Roberts office is clean, simple and straightforward. I sat down on the sofa with my book and read for the duration of the appointment. The first session consisted mainly of math assessments to figure where my daughter stood ,and what areas she needed assistance with. The following week he really got down to work! His explanations were very clear and concise, and he demonstrated great patience. I felt comfortable that she was making progress, and she was relieved to finally understand the concepts that she struggled with in school. He then constructed a practice test for her to work on, then graded it and explained the problems she had difficulty with. Her SAT composite score went from 1010 to 1230! She took the SAT three times total. The main upward trend was in her math portion. There's no doubt in my mind that her scores would've increased further if she tutored with Robert and retook the test again. The numbers don't lie! Yes, a good tutor is an investment. It costs money and Roberts services don't come cheap. But for my daughter and I, it was worth every penny, and I would book him again in a heartbeat. In fact, her college math placement test is approaching and we will probably book a couple of sessions to prepare for it. Thank you, Robert!

Scheduling sessions has always been easy, flexible, and consistent. They truly take the time to match students with the right tutor based on their individual needs, which reflects how professional and dedicated their team is. After taking about a year off, I noticed a slight decline in my son's study habits, which led us to enroll him again during his 8th grade year. Since returning, I have seen a tremendous improvement not only in his study habits, but also in his grades, confidence, and overall attitude toward learning. The support, structure, and encouragement provided by his tutors have made such a positive impact on his academic growth and motivation. His tutor this year, Theta, has especially helped build his confidence in math and strengthen his understanding of the material. As a result, he has received Honor Roll every quarter so far and felt much more confident taking the PSATs this year. I'm so grateful that we found Quick Stars Tutoring. Our son has genuinely enjoyed his experience and recognizes how much it has helped him academically over the years.

The owner, Tracy, was always great with communicating and being flexible when it came to my son's schedule. He also worked with tutors who helped to reinforce what he was learning in school as well as maintain basic math skills. All of this helped him feel more positive about math and ready to make the transition next school year. Although my son is not a client anymore, I will not hesitate to utilize Quick Stars in the future if the need arises.

They recommended my son go to a 11 week tutoring session before going into their reading and writing program during the summer. They said he would have a hard time if he just went to their summer program . Half way into the tutoring session they said my son was done with his sessions and didn't need any more tutoring. That left me with only 5 sessions and no refund for the other 5. When picking him up and dropping him off during the tutoring session I noticed that their facility was uncomfortably hot and there was a lot of construction going on. With this place being a Multi-sensory center I can't imagine being able to help a child with ADHD with people coming in and out, loud construction noises, and unbearable heat. Their summer program is also a joke, there is only one teacher for numerous kids of different ages. I signed my son up for only for reading and writing, but they taught him math instead. Once the summer program was completed they tried to sell me more sessions saying he needed more help! This place is just a business to make money rather than helping children with learning disorders.

She loved her teachers and loved getting ready for school every day. What more could you ask for? I feel indebted to Mrs. Kosasa and the other teachers for what they invested into my daughter. She learned in leaps and bounds under their care. They really care so much for their students, meet them where they are at, encourage them, and give them the tools to succeed. I highly recommend Kosasa Academy!
