Anne Owen's bought my apartment during my lease and it couldn't have gone worse. They tried to say they could keep my deposit because certain rights get transferred to them when the lease is transferred, but could not provide any proof or even given us a copy of a lease under them. They covered our utilities and trash, but multiple times they were turn off or trash cans taken (assuming they don't pay the bill). They did not respond to any maintenance requests, let the grass grow to my knees and tried to deny my deposit back simply because I didn't give thirty days notice that I was vacating the property. I gave a 55 days notice. They have no clue what's going on with any of their properties and couldn't care less. Their properties are poorly marinated and overpriced. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Our agent that we used was, Betsy Powell! If you are a first time home buyer, or just looking for a…read morenew home then I highly recommend using Betsy. Her knowledge of the Lexington area paired with her expertise of the process was unmatched. We were first time home buyers and Betsy took the time to review the entire process with us before we started looking, so we knew exactly what to expect while we were looking and if we decided to make an offer on a home. We ended up putting in an offer on the third home we looked at, Betsy guided us through the process of making an offer and made recommendations that landed us our first home!! After all that was settled, Betsy had list of people to call for different things that were ready to go. I just had to call and get estimates (such a relief!). At the inspection, Betsy was there with us to go over anything and help us ask the right questions. Throughout the entire process, Betsy was there to answer any questions (and I had a lot) and relieve any stress that I had. She was very responsive and responded in a timely manner. We did a final walk through of the home together and noticed something that wasn't there before, Betsy handled it ASAP and it was fixed before we closed! All in all, she was excellent to work with and I will use her if we ever decide to leave this house! Buying a home during a pandemic was stressful on its own, but Betsy made it as stress free and easy on us as possible.
