This hiking trail is about a 5-10 minute drive from the main strip in Twillingate. There's signage on the side of the road so it's not difficult to find once you're on the right road.
Pros:
- most of the lookout points are great (with the exception of the tallest - see below)
- the trail goes through a lush boreal forest
- it's not too long - about 1-1.5 hours long
- there's an outhouse
Cons:
- some of the planks that make up the boardwalk are broken
- some of the signage is a bit unclear
- the tallest lookout point atop the wooden lookout is obscured by tall trees. It's unfortunately the only one that gives you a full 360 degree panorama.
Overall, I recommend this trail if you're in Twillingate. read more
