We had a maple tree that topped out at about 50 feet. There were various parts that were showing…read morerot. Pieces of wood suitable for a fireplace were beginning to regularly drop to the ground. I looked online and Superior Asphalt Maintenance & Tree Experts had excellent reviews. We contacted them and they came out and looked at the tree. Ultimately it was decided that they would have to bring a bucket truck. I know how to drop a tree but there was too much possibility of hitting my tool shed or the neighbors shed. Using the bucket truck they carefully cut down the upper sections. Eventually the only remaining section was the about 10' tall trunk. They completely cleaned the area before dropping the trunk. They dropped the trunk, cut it, and removed it. They re-cleaned the entire area including out to the street. The yard looks absolutely perfect as if nothing had occurred. There is, of course, the remaining stump. That is something that I will resolve myself. They mentioned that they know someone who can grind the stump down to the turf. It is an interesting comparison of tree work. Superior, when finished, left our yard completely clean. There is a property several streets from us that had tree work. There is debris in the street and a lot of tree branches in the yard. Superior has us on their schedule to reseal or seal-coat our driveway. Considering their care in removing the tree we can imagine they will have the same care and consideration.
